KJAP! Pills! Toys! KAP! Bottles!

Tim A. Cummins @ 11:14 pm

Had a great time with Kathy, Jesse, Ashley and Penelope on Thursday!
s

This is our normal position when I’m around.
s

P loves Uncle Jesse!
s

Cool Beans baby.
d
Perfect, angel baby.
d

The toys I ordered for P came in on Thursday and some this morning.
s

She gets really sad when we put her in the car seat by herself. She’s super smart and alert. I realized she needed something to play with.
s

Perhaps we over did it.

Been working on the pills for Kathy. Not an easy task.
s

Worked with the kids at the mission with Ashley. Always good.
s
s

Picked up the prizes for the multiplication competition from my stash at the church.
s
s

Also purchased some more of the Long Life papers from CD Tower for the presentation on Sunday.
s

Admin duties. Watched Doc Martin with K. Blue Host server was down, wasn’t able to update the blog Thursday night.

Beautiful sunset!

s
s
s

Cool con trail.
s

Saw the International Space Station for the 11th time Thursday evening.
s

Friday morning, got Penelope at 9am. Ash is part of a focus group that tests items for young mothers.

So much fun!

Ashley ate with Kathy and I and the baby for lunch.
s
s
The auto focus uses an orange light before it shoots.
s

P didn’t know what to think about that.
s

Ashley has trained her dog how to drive.
s

Went to FBC Doraville to pick up equipment for Ash and I speaking at FBC Mountain Park this coming Sunday.
s

It wasn’t until this evening, that Kathy and I remembered that neither Ashley, nor Jesse ever used a bottle. They were completely breast fed.

So feeding babies is something that suddenly I’m really into.

I got really frustrated when the bottle I was trying to use leaked really badly. Penelope wasn’t bothered by it, but I was. Took off the wet clothes and dried them with a hair drier.

I went to my car to get the spare outfit, but she had already way outgrown it! It all worked out, but it made me go into super preparedness mode. I always have what I need and at least a spare of all mission critical materials.

Got bottle and extra nipples today.

s

This is the bottle warmer.
s

Then sterilize all the pieces.
s

Air dry.
s

Fixed Kathy’s glasses case.
s

Did she shopping at Walmart.
s

Went to Kroger to pick up the meds for Kathy and to talk with the Pharmacist about all her prescriptions.
s
I’m slowly but surely figuring out how best to handle this challenge.

I’m for this.

Beauty sunset!

Girls! Supplies! Mission!

Tim A. Cummins @ 10:46 pm

Got up eagerly this morning! Got to hang out with Penelope. Excellent. Great to see my girls together!
s

She was so cute. Ashley has such great fashion sense, and what a model baby!!
s
The outfit came from Anthony and Kat Jacquin, our friends in England. Ashley said, “All the buttons are the wrong way.” Funny, Brits!
s
She was perfect. She’s such a good baby. She doesn’t gripe unless she’s hungry or dirty. And face it. Don’t we all do that, too?

Ate lunch with AP. Always good.

Then to Walmart to pick up some supplies for the Show. We are going to try a back projection system. That way the screen can be directly behind us, but the projector is not in the audience. The downside to this method is that the projector has to be at least 10 feet from the wall, so you lose space.

We got the King Size white sheet. We’ll measure it and I’ll get it sewn by my tailor at Plaza Fiesta. I plan on using PVC pipe like heavy duty curtain rods. I’ll have her sew space for the rods at the top and bottom. I’ll add playground sand to the inside of the bottom pipe to pull the sheet tight. I’ll probably get an iron to make is look smooth out of the packaging.

Ashley worked on the Power Point presentation for the service at FBC Mountain Park this coming Sunday.

I was at the mission by myself. Worked out fine. It always does!

s

K was super tired when I got home.

I worked on some reservations for my wife and her two sisters and her brothers for Columbia International University.

Admin duties now.

Beautiful sunset.

Podcast! AP! Mooglie!

Tim A. Cummins @ 9:02 pm

Worked on my sermon for Sunday at Mountain Park. I have 30 minutes. Normally, Ash and I do this presentation in an hour. We have to figure out what are the high points.

Enjoyed recording a new podcast this morning. Woot!

s
I love this edition called “PROfidence!” Plenty of people have CONfidence, they need the other piece too!

Uploaded to my server.
s

Promo the link on Facebook. I average about 1,000 downloads a month.
s

Ashley and Penelope came to our house for lunch.
s

s

We discussed the sermon for Sunday. I plan on doing the presentation with Ashley.

On our way back from eating, we went to Pet Smart to get a jacket for Mooglie. Cold outside!
s

Only in America!
s
Well, maybe also in England!

Came home to rest. My voice is a lot better. Glad for that!

No school today for the kids. Mission will start again tomorrow!

Watched Doc Martin with K.

Admin duties now.

Podcast! JK! Deadpool! Macedonia!

Tim A. Cummins @ 7:18 pm

Had a fun Saturday!

Recording! Always good!

I love this edition, my Valentiney Version which I call “Feel the Warmth.” Just click on the title and GROOVE!

Uploaded to my server.
s

Posted on Facebook.
s

Ate lunch with Jesse and Kathy at IHOP. Excellent company.
s
s

Came home to rest, then went to see Deadpool. My local theater, NCG (which we call “Nicaragua”), was completely sold out. Wow.
s
It’s a rough movie and not for a PG crowd.
s
Very violent but in kind of a funny way. Some nudity. I thought it was very creative and an hilarious movie. The XMan who wasn’t.

Went to sleep at 9pm! (That deserves an exclamation point.) Early night in preparation of getting up at 5:45 Sunday morning.

Beautiful sunrise!
s
I must admit I put the whole family in danger because of my obsession of shooting something that must be shot. Slight danger.
s

K and I drove to Clarkston to pick up Ashley and my little partner, Penelope!
s

She’s getting an early start.
s
I can’t wait till when we can really start working her into the show.
I grew up with WMU–Women’s Missionary Union. It’s now called Women on Mission.
s

What a WONDERFUL treat to have ALL my girls together on Valentine’s day.

s

Ashley preached in both services at Macedonia Baptist Church in Newnan, GA.
s

They remembered me. Apparently, I had preached there 19 years ago! We had just come back from Madagascar. They said I’d lost a lot of hair. Thanks for reminding me.

Ashley was her usual awesome self.
s
s
s

She is truly an amazing performer and she’s just getting better!
s
Everyone loves Ashley!

We got to share with the Children’s Department and a couple of the youth between services.
s
s

I sat with Penelope.

We ate lunch and headed home.

I slept about 2.5 hours this afternoon. Feel great.

Admin duties now.

I love the color of the light on the trees with the blue sky.
s

And this shrub on the wood chips.
s

This lady’s purse reminded me of the mirror ball from LCD Soundsystem.

Podcast! JAP! Rundgren!

Tim A. Cummins @ 1:27 pm

GREAT Friday!

Started off giving myself a fresh haircut.
s
Took Kathy out for lunch. This newspaper stand NEVER gets changed. Guess how long this paper has been there?
s
November 14, 2015.

Took Jesse, Ashley and Penelope out for lunch.
s
I drank coffee and enjoyed company!
s
J and I went to update his phone and K’s phone. Both were having problems.
s

I’ll get my in March. We have a deal with ATT to get a new phone every year. We give them back our old one.
s

Went to see Todd Rundgren Friday night. I love the ATL!
s
s

He’s such a great performer!
s
s
One of my all time favorite guitar players.
s

The whole band is great!
s

He played most of his big hits.

Taxes! Todd! AP!

Tim A. Cummins @ 7:31 pm

Another cold night!
s

This morning I organized my tax documents, filled in some forms for my tax guy and mailed it to them in Rome, GA.
s
s
s
s
Peachtree has done a great job for me.

Met up with Ashley for lunch with Penelope and our good friend Todd Harrison!
s

We ate at Plaza Fiesta then went to Asian Square and the Buford Highway Farmers Market!

Lots of fun on a Whirlwind Safari!

Picked up some supplies at Walmart for the mission.
s

Dropped by Azalea to remind the kids that we wouldn’t have our homework help time because they don’t have school tomorrow.
s
Picked up a new mouse.
s

I say “picked up” what I mean is that it was delivered with Amazon Prime–a service I highly recommend. I buy a lot of stuff from them including my last lawnmower and leaf blower.

My old mouse started to act wanky. I think the transmitter/receiver wasn’t completely up to speed.

Admin duties now.

I bought K a new ipod shuffle for Valentines Day. Got that working and loaded with an eclectic blend of music. I’ve found it’s really hard to pick out music for someone else. That’s why they make chocolate and vanilla!

Crown! P! Mission!

Tim A. Cummins @ 10:36 pm

Super cold morning.
s
It was down to 19 degrees last night. Yow! I’m extra careful to make sure and put out plenty of food for the birds and animals at times like these.
s
Up to the dentist bright and early. Time to get my permanent crown installed.

s
s
$750 for something no one ever sees. Sure feels better.

Everything went off without a hitch.

Rushed home to be with Penelope and Kathy.
s

That is one sweetheart baby!
s
I really enjoyed being in the rocking chair with her. I had forgotten how soothing that rocking motion can be! I know it was crashing me out!

I’ve really been trying to rest my voice.

It’s hard to do that and work with a bunch of loud mission kids. Believe it or not, the power was out at the mission, so I had a good excuse not to let a bunch of them in so they could just play games.

My voice is better. Please pray for my complete recovery.

Gassed up the car. Dig these prices!
s
Stopped to pick up some Chinese food on the way home. These big crabs were amazing.
s

Enjoyed watching Doc Martin with K. We’ve started the series over!

I’ve also enjoyed the show “100” on Netflix. It sort of reminds me of “Lord of the Flies.”

Last night, I had the top score in Battlefront: 21-2. If you’re not a gamer, you don’t know how impressive that is. Just sayin’.
s
Beautiful colors. This shot looks amazingly 3D to me.
s
s

This turned out pretty weird. It’s a slightly double image.
s

Amen.

Rest! Errands! SNOW!

Tim A. Cummins @ 6:12 pm

I’ve felt a little weak last night and today. Slight headache. I stayed in bed for about 14 hours. That’s unusual!

Had some light snow!
s

Emphasis on light. Still, it’s below freezing and could get icy. I told Ashley we wouldn’t have the mission today.

Had lunch with Kathy. Always good.

Went to Office Depot to swap out two HP75 inks for two HP61 inks. Glad they were able to do that.

s
s

Went to the bank to deposit checks. Amen!
s

Dropped off a mouse at UPS.
s
My mouse has been acting wanky, but the replacement I got isn’t satisfactory. Sent it back to Amazon for another more similar to the one I have.

Taxes! Errands! One Heart! Mission!

Tim A. Cummins @ 9:38 pm

I’ve been kind of hoarse. Trying to be quiet. Not easy.

Worked on my taxes all morning.
s

I don’t really understand people who enjoy doing that type of work. I reckon being in a room filled with yelling kids wouldn’t be their cup of chai either.

Went to Walmart to pick up some supplies.
s
Got a new bulb for my terrarium.
s
Everything in it is artificial.

Lowes to pick up some metal flashing to repair where some rodent has been chewing in order to get in.
s
I only need strips of about 3″.
s

Met up with Ashley and P! Always fabulous. We met at One Heart Church to talk about some outreach in Norcross end of March.
s
Penelope is always popular! Great to see Lindsey and Chester today.
s

Did get some distressing news. Sabra properties wants all ministry to stop in their apartments. That effects about 15 different locations. Pray that the Lord will open these locations back up to us!

Worked at the mission with the kids. Teaching them elapsed time on analog clocks.
s

Hard on my voice.
Enjoyed seeing Jesse this evening. Not much communication on my part.

Admin duties now.

The cops stake out the hill into town.
s
Beauty!
s
s
Followed this Lotus for miles on 78. Traffic was brutal. At least I had a nice view.

Westside!

Tim A. Cummins @ 4:01 pm

I loved the twilight colors last night.
s
s
K and I had a fun morning at Westside Baptist Church! One of the young women in the church got baptized. Always awesome to see that.
s

Pastor Ben had people come up and sing a favorite hymn together.
s
s

Brother Roger was rocking the piano.
s

Mine was “When the Roll Is Called Up Yonder!”
s
I sang with Pastor Ben and our youth director John.

I sang it a lot at Baylor. But we said, “When the NoZe is Called up Yonder.” Of course, I’ll be there.

Good lunch with K.

Admin duties and rest.

I liked the colors of the wall hanging.
s
This seat cover kind of freaked me out.
s

I thought it looked like Sasquatch.
