Jesse and I really enjoyed Ready Player One. Fun VR movie. Not nearly as good as the book, though. That book was written for guys like me of my age. All those games and movies I grew up with.

After the Plaza Fiesta Safari, the girls and I went back to the church to strike the set.
Once everything was put up, I sent them home and I swept, mopped and put some chairs around tables and put some tables up.
On the way home I picked up the newsletters and went to Walmart to get more envelopes. I almost had enough, but not quite.
Got stamps for the newsletters.

I worked on editing my new book Story Tim until after midnight. Broke my streak. I think part of me did it on purpose, just to not be a slave to it. I did study that day, I just didn’t get quite enough answers right to place out of that section of Duolingo.

I studied Spanish this morning. I tried to place out of another big chunk of material. Almost made it, but not quite. Honestly, if I can’t figure it out, that’s why I’m studying!

Tried to record at the church but someone had taken my office key and failed to replace it. Grrrr. I tried to record in the room next to my office, but it was kind of noisy. Traffic sirens in particular. And the room sounded “boomy.”
I’ve also come to the conclusion that I need to edit one last time before the read through. I will probably re-record what I have so far, which is the first ten chapters. We’ll see.
I’m thinking I want a “purer” version of the book which is just the stories with less life learnings. Again, I’m still in the thinking about it mode.

Went to Ashley’s house to take a family photo. Hard to do. We needed someone to take the picture to help Penelope smile. The timer thing doesn’t work well for kids.

I spent most of Friday working on the audio version of Story Tim — Adventure Land. I recorded and processed four chapters on Friday. My goal is two a day. I did extra because I knew I was keeping Penelope over night. Always a blessing.

Ashley brought Penelope over around 6:30 pm. We went to the park. She loves climbing and a snow cone for a treat.
Beautiful evening with a wonderful granddaughter.
We enjoyed watching Super Wings. One of the most interesting kid’s shows I’ve seen. Every episode Jett the plane delivers a package to some child in a foreign town and country. They even learn a little of the language.
She went to sleep about 11:30pm and woke up around 8:30am. After eating fruit breakfast, we went outside and played in the yard. I cleaned up my outside rug and St. Francis area. Also trimmed bushes in the front of my house.
Ashley and Everly came over to the house around 1:00pm. GREAT to see all my girls and Jesse!
Penelope and I swung for about twenty minutes. She was tired and I rocked her to sleep.
Rested a bit then went and got lunch. On the way home, I stopped by an antique place called Once Possessed. Always something interesting to see.
