Grandgirls! Newsletters! Mission! 10.29.20

Tim A. Cummins @ 8:38 pm

Tropical storm Zeta blew through last night. We lost power for about an hour.

I usually arrive at Global Mall around 8am. Because of the storm, we met at around 9:15. So I had time to study Spanish.

As I mentioned yesterday, studying Spanish has replaced social media. So whenever I used to scroll through Facebook, now I go through Duolingo or Clozemaster.

I’ll dig deeper into the meanings of words. It’s super useful.

Rained a 1.25″ last night.

The girls needed to go potty, and because we were later, the mall was open. So we wandered around the mall a bit. No one was there. It was kinda fun.

Went from Global Mall to FBC Doraville to drop off Ashley’s newsletter. The secretary got it done by the time I came back and finished at the mission.

Got gas. Cleaned windshield. Checked oil.

Our scary pumpkin is looking even scarier to me.

Cleaned off the driveway after the storm.

I like lichen.

More Spanish.

Took some printer paper to Ashley.

Read books and put girls down for a nap. I probably rested around 30 minutes.

Went to Baskin Robbins for ice cream and spider doughnuts.

To Azalea to help the kids.

The girls enjoy playing.

Back to the church to pick up the newsletters. Also watered the ficus in my office.

It’s hard to work in a black and white environment after color for so long. It’s all about contrast and how bright the pictures are.

Listened to Harry Potter in Spanish on the way home.

Deposited checks.

Beauty clouds.
