Summer schedule started this morning. Got up at 6:00 AM. Met the dawn.

I normally study Spanish while I walk. Unfortunately, Mint mobile doesn’t have good internet and I wasn’t able to do that. I only walked .45 miles. Decided studying was more important.

I tackled a massive job today: organizing the school stuff. It was a hard and nasty job. Rats and gotten into it. Gross.

Better now.

I took some of the stuff to Ashley and Miles’ house, some to my office at the church, and threw some stuff away.

Took the girls to Waffle House. They were really cracking up.

Went to my office to drop stuff off, check the mail and water my ficus.

Went to Goodwill. I wanted to get a back pack for the summer school material. I found this little trampoline for $13. They’re having fun on it.

Went by UPS to drop off a shirt K didn’t like to send back to Amazon.

Took them to MJ’s to eat. I’ve never seen any person get that much corn. She ate over half of it. It was the first time I’ve ever let Everly do her own plate. Not sure that was a good idea.

Gwinnett County water guys came to our neighborhood this morning. They brought a back hoe to work on my neighbor’s yard. They were trying to make the grass look better. I was glad they didn’t have to turn off the water again.

It’s still nice, but definitely getting hot in the afternoon.

Because of the noise of the back hoe, I decided to do my hike in another neighborhood that also has a big hill like my street. Not as big, but still steep.

K and I went to Walmart to pick up popsicles for the kids as they got off the bus.

We had a fun time at the party. I like giving things to the adults too.

Went to my office to check the mail and use the bathroom.

Ate at Buford Highway Farmers Market.

Village Park for exercise.

K and I had a good visit with Ashley and Miles after we came back from the park.

Picked up a pizza for J on the way home.

Enjoying playing Fallout 4. It’s been really fun to have a game I’m looking forward to playing.

My gardenias are blooming. One of my favorite times of year.

I sent the sphagnum moss back to Amazon. Needed a lot more than that little bag. The UPS store has self check in and bagging.

Transported a squirrel to Chamblee.

Picked up mail and processed checks. Then took them to the bank to deposit.

Took the girls to 2 Bridges Park. Sadly, the Splash Pad still wasn’t open. They still had fun.

On the way home, I passed by 3rd Rail Studios. I noticed a WTOC sign on the fence. I thought that was cool. I spent a few really good years there!

Traffic was so bad going home.

I’m enjoying playing Fallout 4.

Came in #1 last week.

Lovely weather. Looks like it’s going to be dry for a while. Put my succulents back outside. They were staying too wet.

There’s a QT near the mission that has super good gas prices. Nearly a quarter cheaper than near my house and .37 cents cheaper than in Chamblee.

I took the girls to the Downwind restaurant at the PDK airport. They are building a new playground there. Not sure about the concrete base!

Then to the Monkey Bar Park.

Listened to Don Cheto on the way home.

Cloudy with a bit of rain.

I like to support the police and for them to know that. I got a set of stickers for my cars and house.

I got my new power strip and chargers hooked up for my external batteries.

Watered my plants.

I have some 7″ pots and sphagnum moss coming to replant my Nepenthes carnivores.

Ordered groceries.

Cleaned and refilled my feeders and bird baths.

K and I went to Guero’s for Mexican food. Then picked up groceries.

I got extra distilled water for a project that J is working on.

Put my new episode of Verbal Surgery on Facebook: “The Spider and The Ant.”

The kids at the mission haven’t had any homework for a couple of weeks now. Everything is winding down. Ashley had the day off today, so I decided to save some gas and stay home. I need the rest.

Sewed up a couple of my pairs of shorts. The belt loops where I hang my keys were getting torn up.

I enjoyed reading this in Spanish last night. That was cool to me because the conversations in the book were all originally en Español.

Went to Publix to pick up J’s meds.

I gave up hope that my banana plants had survived the freeze last winter. I got another four plants in today. I had the last set for over six years. I’ve learned a lot about growing them since then. Main thing is that I’ll dig them up and bring them inside before it gets really cold.

I also added some soil to some cuttings of a San Pedro plant I had. I’d watched a video about putting them horizontally and placing them on soil so they’ll start to root.

Moved my pineapple, frangipani and aloe vera plants back inside. They were getting too wet. They don’t like that. Moved my fasciata into sunnier spots.

About .20″ of rain.

Cleaned off and swept my back porch and St. Francis shrine.

Got a new set of chargers for my batteries.

Picked up the girls and took them to Cici’s. Then to Dick’s sporting goods and Pet Smart. I’m always looking for physical challenges for them. Everly held herself up for 40 seconds. I thought that was pretty good!
