This morning I worked on the 100th episode of Verbal Surgery!

vs
It’s a short video on some recurring themes!

I thought you might like to see the top countries that have downloaded my podcast!
c
Surprised?

I took Kathy and Jesse out for lunch today. We had a fun time.

Adios Dos!

Tim A. Cummins @ 5:43 pm

I’m officially on vacation!

Had a fun lunch with my family.
f
Then Ashley and I went to check on the team at Azalea. Today is the last day for Mission Flame BC. They’ve done a wonderful job here!

I helped them get their carryall box back on their truck.
r
e
By helped I mean watched and took pictures.

Found a dead squirrel at the church. Had to chuck it out. What a stinky job.

Team did great at Azalea and Highland Gardens. Always a blessing.

Had a fun day with my sweet Ashley!
f
After a delicious lunch with my family!

We said our goodbyes to the team from Florida. They did an awesome job!
pl
j

Michael was a great team leader! He reminds me of Michael Westen from Burn Notice.
m

Then Ashley and I worked on checking out some new locations to take the team.
a

We especially like the Plaza Fiesta mall. It’s just like you stepped into full on Mexico. Groovy!
p

We were particularly interested in the Botanicas to show the teams the traditional folk Catholicism.
m

Over to my team from NC to check on their progress. All good!

Spent a little time at an antique place in Chamblee before getting a bowl of ice cream at the Frosty Caboose.

N. Africa! India! Atlanta!

Tim A. Cummins @ 11:18 pm

This morning I took the teams to Madina and Global Mall to get a taste of the Islamic and Hindu world.
t
m
We had fun exploring the interesting cultures these two locations provide!
g
My friend Prakesh, showed the team part of the Hindu worship service.
p

I took the teams to a new Mexican food restaurant in our area: La Rumba! It was pretty good. I prefer my ol’ favorite El Torerros, but it’s impossible to seat 50 people there.
r

Their suops were good.
c
p
Ashley and I took our friend Glenda around to see some of the missions and watch the teams in action. Awesome!

Had a fun day today!

Long way from a vacation!

Gave my briefing to Emmanuel BC, FL and Mission’s Flame, NC!
t

FBC Doraville was PACKED. At least the parking lot!
p
p2
Over 60,000 people ran in the Peachtree Road Race this morning. I think half of them tried to park at the church!

After the briefing, I took the team around to the Buford Highway Farmers Market. Always an amazing place.

It’s hog kissin’ time!

R&R!

Tim A. Cummins @ 8:08 pm

Woke up this morning. Turned over to catch five more minutes and slept two more hours. I must really be tired.

Enjoyed some sun this morning.

And recorded two new podcasts! Fun! Today was episodes 98 and 99! That’s nearly 30 hours of listening to me talk. Woosh!

p
Here’s part of my recording rig!
m
You are AWESOME! This podcast is designed to make you even AWESOMER!

“Expect a GREAT YOU!”

And perhaps my most important podcast to date!

“Change your costume!”
Tired of the old you? Create a new version! Powerful stuff, baby!

July 3rd is always important for me for one BIG reason: The Tour de France starts!

I realize that many of my friends think I’m loco for being a fan, but I love the first person video! It’s like you’re riding around the whole country of France on a bike. Ubergroovy!
t

K and I have enjoyed watching TV together this afternoon. Relaxing day!

I also ran 2 1/4 miles this afternoon. It was a hot day, but I still did it.

This looked a little too much like a biology experiment gone horribly wrong.
o

It was good to see Miles today! Sorry his leg is still hurting him. Glad it’s not broken!
f

Our washing machine isn’t working properly. Went to the Discount Appliance place and got another one. Hopefully, it’ll last for a while! I was glad to have J help me hook it up!

Watched a lot of TV with Kathy tonight! Always fun hanging out with my sweety favorite.

Team came into town tonight. Looking forward to working with them on Monday!

Another hot day!

Perhaps I need to start dressing like this!
t

Maybe not.

Work and Stickers!

Tim A. Cummins @ 12:23 am

This morning I worked on my financial report. Jesse helped me enter some data. Sure appreciated that help! We dropped that off at our treasurer’s house. Glad to have that job completed.
w
I’m in the middle of editing the team videos from last week. Shot a lot of material. I know the kids will enjoy seeing that!
e
K and I went for lunch at Red Robin. Dig those burgers! Also enjoyed my favorite thing: hanging out at the book store!

I thought this quote was interesting.
p

I was surprised it took 3 minutes to figure out Einstein and only 30 seconds for Religion!
r

Came back home to rest and work on editing video.

Another warm day in the ATL.
98
It actually hit 100 on my car briefly.

Then to Lawrenceville to meet one of my partners. We checked out some of the complexes in the area where we’ll host some block parties in a couple of weeks. One of the locations we go to regularly made it sound like we might not be able to again. Still not exactly sure why. Have to have a feeling of urgency with my work. No guarantees.

Enjoyed watching some movies with Kathy. Always groovy!

This tree looked like is was splitting open. Weird.
tr

I thought these stickers were interesting.

Finale! Super 8!

Tim A. Cummins @ 10:30 pm

Worked on new podcasts today! Always groovy!

Verbal Surgery is some of my best, and most important, work!

I think you’ll find “The Key to Success is Respondability!”

r

And this one is one of my best yet! ‘Uncommon Seeds.” Just click on the title and away you’ll go into Podcast Land!
s

Today we wrapped up the busiest week of the summer!

Here’s the route one of the buses took!
b

I met the teams at FBC Doraville around lunchtime.

Had a group shot with the Hattieburg team. They did a fantastic job!
h
g

Byron Malone is one of my favorites! Great to have him back this year!
b

Ashley and I went around to take pictures and video of the teams from Oklahoma and Kentucky as well!
g

d

They sure are some great folks.

Picked up my car this evening. I had to have the emission test done. Had to have some work on it to pass. In fact, three out of the four cars I have had to get work on them in order for them to pass. Cost about $750 for all the repairs. Ironically, the van–which is nearly 20 years old, was the only one that passes the initial inspection! All four of my cars have nearly 200,000 miles on them.

J and I went to see Super 8 this evening. I liked it.
s8

Kids shooting movies is always groovy. And who doesn’t like a good monster movie?

Did you know I’m part Cherokee?
c

And Gypsy too!

I don’t this was one of the missionary’s cars.
c

I liked this jeep. It was super heavy duty with a winch in the front. And a BABY seat!
j
Looked like a pretty hard core baby sat there!
