Alpine R&R!
After my marathon 35 day straight work schedule it was awesome to have a break!
Kathy and I trekked up to Alpine Lodge next to Raccoon Mountain near Chattanooga.
It reminds me of Kenya!
I loved the wild flowers!
And this moth!
We had a fun time exploring the city on our bikes. I enjoy shooting bricks that show perspective.
We enjoyed watching the horse and listening to the cow moo.
This always makes me sad.
Talk about a parking problem!
This was some GREAT BBQ!
I enjoyed looking at the grave monuments. Notice how the angel is wearing flip flops!
Creative names, eh?
Good to know who you’re with.
I dig hands.
The highlight of our trip was the zoo!
I liked this Swahili! The box was from Dar!
I remember seeing camels in Niger!
Ever heard me hoot like an owl?
Some of the animals looked pretty hot! It was!
I dig Jaguars!
They had a dinosaur exhibit at the zoo. Groovy!
I think the chimps would have liked these.
They just sat around like this.
Had my 53rd birthday on Tuesday!
I received over 300 greetings on FaceBook! Groovy!
I visited the Delta Queen! What a beauty!
Beautiful bridge!
Always a good idea!
Watch out for this!
Enjoyed reading Cialdini’s book on Persuasion. Fascinating stuff.
Wrote 100 new proverbs on my birthday! Prolific!
Fortunately, I’m a Road Warrior, so I can keep up with my work no matter where I am.
Sure am glad I have Jesse to help me with the Financial reports. I hate inputting all that data. We usually split the work up so it’s not too bad for either of us.
Had a safe drive back home. Checked on the office at the church. Made a bunch of phone calls to verify all the locations are set for the teams coming next week. We’ll cover eight locations
Tomorrow I have an Outreach Event in Lawrenceville to host. Should be fun!
GREAT to be back home! Surprisingly cool!
Beautiful sunsets!
