Ashley and I met up with our new friend Joan to help us understand how to do the Quickbooks for our ministry.
It was a challenging couple of hours. I praise God that Ashley is doing this!
We had a fun lunch at El Torrero.
Then back to the office to sign and get the newsletters ready for the Post Office.
Posted the letters!
Back home to rest. No mission today. No homework.
Played some games. Always fun.

Had fun talking with Jesse this afternoon. Always good to pick his brain for ideas on distribution electronically of my book.
Played some Far Cry 4. Cool game.

This morning I wrote and produced my newsletter.
Also printed out the labels.
On the way to the office, I dropped off the luggage at the UPS store to send it back to Amazon.
FREE! I love Amazon Prime.
I also dropped off some old clothes to the Goodwill.
Met up with Ashley and Julie Cook for lunch. She’s one of our favorite partners from FBC Jonesboro.
We talked about logistics for her team coming in June.
Enjoyed visiting the Buford Highway Farmers Market We met a lady for Israel!
We treated Julie to a strawberry crepe. Fantastique!
Everything sounds great.
After Julie left, we went to the bank and deposited money.
Then to the mission to help the kids with their homework. They didn’t have much today.
They also helped us with the labels for the newsletter.
I bought doughnuts for everyone.
Ate supper and went to Walmart with Jesse. Always good.
Watched Super Nanny, Parks and Recreation and Kardashians with K this evening.

Friday was a rest day for me! I enjoyed eating Caribbean food.
Went to Walmart to pick up groceries.
Bought stamps at the Post Office.
I liked the Batman and the Circus stamps.
Enjoyed watching TV with K. Went to sleep early.
Saturday I intended to lead seventy people from One Heart Church on mission. The weather was supposed to be bad, so we will reschedule that. It only rained 1/2″.
I cleaned my rain gauge!
Spent the day with Kathy–it’s her birthday!
I installed some seat covers in my car.
Put my new weed wacker together.
Jesse joined us for lunch AND supper! Woot!
K turned double nickles.
K and I watched God’s Not Dead movie tonight. We liked it.
I got some new luggage, but it was the wrong size. I’ll send it back to Amazon. Got the right ones coming. FREE shipping back! I love Amazon Prime!

Peachtree Corners Baptist Church tomorrow morning. I’ll be speaking at one of the main Sunday School classes.
Zoning changes. I’ll be at the meeting to stand against it. They want to add another 120 homes in that area after draining the wetlands. Not zesty.
I liked this mortar.
Enjoyed blowing bubbles.
One of my favorite little cactus bloomed.

This morning I went to a meeting with my partners at Perimeter Church.
It was interesting to hear how other groups raise funds or find more volunteers.
Enjoyed looking around Barnes and Noble for a bit.
Vinyl!?
Then went to Chamblee to look around an antique store I like.
Always something interesting to see!
I found three things.
I collect Ben Franklin things.
I like binoculars. These were made in Japan in the 50s.
And I’m partial to skulls. I thought the decorations on this one were amazing. It’s ten years old.
Came home and worked on my book Power Prayer.
I went through the first draft and corrected all the mistakes I could find. I printed up a hard copy for Kathy to look at.
The next step is to record the book and produce the four prayer sessions.
I’m thinking about putting the entire book on a USB drive. The drive will also have the audio version.
Ate supper with Jesse and Kathy. Always good.
Watched The Good Lie with Kathy. Interesting film about the Lost Boys of Sudan.

I liked these flowers.

Fired up my new mower Wednesday morning!
Grass was pretty high.
Still kind of damp from all the rain. Mulching the leaves was especially hard. Looks better!
Went shopping at Walmart for groceries. And picked up K’s meds from Kroger.
They’re still working on the remodel.
Checked on the kids at the mission. No homework.
Had supper with Jesse!
I saw this on the way home. Wow.
Big news is that the new QT is open. I asked them when they were officially opening—when does “tomorrow” start?
Midnight?
They told me the “soft” opening was at 10pm. I decided to be the first customer.
Ended up staying till after 11:30 talking to all the contractors who had build “my” new QT. I met the manager and assistant managers. Even though there computers were not working, they invited me in for a free drink. So achieved my first customer status!
First cup of coffee! Won’t be the last. Not be a long shot.
I’ve been taking pictures of the entire building process. I’ll work on getting those all into one gallery soon. Final shots!
Beauty! My favorite “bricks and mortar” store!
This cat stalks my bird feeders. Hate that.
I see you.
Why not?

I finished the first draft of my new book “Power Prayer.” I’m going through it now to check for typos and polish.
Met up with Ashley for lunch. She’ll be going to N. Georgia rest of this week on a mission conference. She’s won’t be back till Sunday. That’s a long gig.
K helped me get the supplies for the outreach this weekend with One Heart Church!
Did some shopping at Walmart and Lowes for equipment we needed.
Then on to the mission to work with the kids.
Only the youngest had homework. The rest are taking the Milestone test. It’s what’s replace the CRCT.
Back home to watch Castle and Supernanny with K.
