I studied Spanish and did my brain training.

Cleaned out the bird baths.

Mowed half of my backyard.

Picked up a lot of branches on the ground.

I could see some of them were already being eaten by the mycelium.

I put them in my pit with the other lumber.

After I finished mowing, I restapled the tarp covering a small section of my roof. It’s not leaking, but the wood is soft so I’m protecting it from further damage until I get the roof repair guys over.

Went to Walmart to pick up my groceries.

Cleaned them all up before I brought them inside the house.

Powerful thunderstorms went through the ATL today.

I got a bag of dog food to feed the raccoons.

Threw some out in front of the red light so I can watch them. The raccoons and possums cannot see that spectrum of light. So it’s easy to see them but they think they’re standing in the dark.

Released an episode of Verbal Surgery called “Just Let Go 2.” An excellent edition.

Also released a squirrel today.

I studied Spanish and did my brain training.

Had a good talk with my friend Jon. He lost his wife one year ago yesterday. It was a very sad time for us all.

Went into Chamblee to check on the mail. Watered my tree while I was at the office.

Went to the bank to deposit checks.

That’s always good!

Went to Walmart to pick up my groceries but somehow there was a problem with the app. I made a re-order to get them tomorrow. The technology doesn’t always work.

Came home to ride my bike 13.29 miles. Beautiful clouds today.

Watered my plants. I love my green friends.

Studied Spanish and did my brain training.

Interesting study on Rumi a 13th century philosopher.

I’m starting to memorize one of his poems.

I keep a list of the poems I know.

Did a lot of yard work today. Started by picking out all the poison ivy I could find.

Later, I mowed the yard and made sure I shred that completely. It’s best to try to pull it up as much by the roots as possible. I’ve been doing this for years! I pretty much got it all cleaned out and then it’ll start going back here there.

Also edged the yard and cleaned up with the blower.

I still have two more days of yard work to do. I was absolutely soaked with sweat when I was finished.

I’ve been enjoying Horizon Zero Dawn. The art and the graphics are incredible.

Perhaps you wonder why I tell you that every day. It’s because it encourages my behavior to have a streak.

Released new episode of Verbal Surgery “Blanket Conundrum.”

Had a fun talk with my buddy Anthony Jacquin.

He talked me through making an Italian red sauce. I thought it turned out pretty well.

Went for a 15.17 mile bike ride.

Beautiful clouds.

I’ve really enjoyed the art of Horizon Zero Dawn. This second time through it’s been interesting for me to look at all the different costumes.

Powerful thunderstorm raced through Atlanta.

Had a good chat with my buddy Anthony in the UK.

Got gas on the way home, still pretty cheap.

Did some baking, made some muffins.

Got my new salt and pepper grinders in the mail along with the peppercorns.

Paid bills.

Watched El Dragon.

Too wet to bike.

Enjoyed having the grand girls come over.

The clouds were fantastic.

Went to Walmart to get my groceries. I’m still picking them up at curbside service. Got them home and cleaned them off with bleach rags.

Put some air in my bike tires.

I rode my bike 15.16 miles.

Went over all my poetry. I keep notecards in my little bike pouch so I can glance down at new stuff.

I listened to Harry Potter in Spanish.

After my bike ride, I painted my shoes. Made them look good again.

Rode my bike 15.19 miles. I tweaked my back at about mile 2 going up a hill. I feel OK but it still hurts a little bit.
