Bike! German Bakery! Azalea! Frida Kahlo! Podcast! 3.8.22

Tim A. Cummins @ 10:31 pm

As I’ve studied Spanish, I’ve been reading about one artist in particular: Frida Kahlo. I’ve seen her image many times before because Ashley painted her portrait and has it in her dining room! So I started researching her and her images.

This is the one Ashley painted. I believe it’s a paint by the numbers edition. Beautiful.

I’m looking forward to watching this as well. Warhol is one of my favorite modern artists. I really enjoyed the exhibit at the High Museum here in the ATL a few years ago.

I’ve never seen anything like this before.

I like this.

OYB!

Lot of rain!

Beautiful clouds this morning.

Love my girls!

Good fruit breakfast!

EspaƱol!

Everly put on one of the new jackets we got from Goodwill recently. We matched!

Adelante!

My bike has needed a brake adjustment. With the rainy weather, I figured it was a good time to see if I could get it worked on. They said, “Bring it on over!” so I did.

The rear V-Brake Calipers were worn out. My bike is about 25 years old, so it didn’t surprise me!

I really like dealing with these guys. They really know their stuff.

I took Everly over to the German Bakery in Stone Mountain for lunch. It was so good. Especially the lemon squares!

Transported another squirrel. I’ll be doing that a lot for the next few months.

Helped the kids with their homework.

Made a reservation for the conference room in a couple of weeks.

Ordered groceries.

Once I got home, I dried my bike completely off (it was soaked!) then rubbed it down with a thin coating of WD40. Also sprayed all the moving parts (except the chain and gears which take another type of lubricant) with WD40. The reason my bike is in such good shape after a quarter century is because I take really good care of her. I’ve ridden thousands of miles over the years.

Locked up and ready for the next ride.

Released Verbal Surgery “What Now?” So good.
