In Arc Raiders you can wear many different types of uniforms. I got a new “skin” last night called Macrame. It looks Asian. I did some research on the designs.
Cold night, but beautiful today. Especially for yard work.
Great to hear from supporters!
OYB!
Español! Listened to Don Cheto while I raked.
It’s a big job.Especially for just one person. I still did it pretty fast. NE part of the yard.
I worked 1:49 hours.
I had been rooting my little pineapple top. I put her in a pot today. She’ll be with the plumeria.
Nana got some scones from her friend in Texas, Jodie Steger. What a sweet person she is. She also included some little toys.
I asked Chat GPT what this was. I knew how to use it, I just wasn’t sure if I was supposed to do something with the wings.
J and I talked with Scott Deter today. He got J signed up for Oscar again.
Nana got a kettle. Works great.
Listened to Don Cheto while I did yard work.
I cleaned out the leaves from in front of the house. I made a pile where my path is to my room. The leaves keep the path from getting muddy. Before I planted the monkey grass, my front yard was only dirt and a few weeds.
Lotta yard.
I didn’t need the blower after I cleared the driveway. The rake was good enough.
Worked out 1:43:32.
I worked until dark.
Study.

I called 911 about a stalled SUV in the turn lane of 78 at E Park Place Blvd. Hazardous for sure.
Laundry.
I try to help K with her documents.
My Mom called me and left me this transcription. I figured out she was doing talk to text while watching the TV.
I picked up the girls and took them to Waffle House. Penelope always draws cool pictures, many of them flip open revealing a surprise.
Went by my office to check the mail.
Couldn’t remember shambolic. But it’s great word.
This helped me. I was not happy with the extra layer needed with the iOS 26 update.
I practiced taking a screen shot with the new setting. This is what my home page looks like. Everything worked like it used to.
Listened to Don Cheto on the way home.
Trying to get all the medical information together for next year.
It’s a toss up for the top three. Sometimes people over-perform during the finals. It doesn’t really matter to me. I just do my best.
The display to my TV from my Mac wasn’t working correctly. I went through all the connections, twisted the adapter and it all came back on. I’ve already ordered another adaptor. Those things are really fragile.

Trying to set up an appointment for Nana to get a follow up visit for her new blood pressure med.
K and I picked up the girls and we ate at Taco Veloz. My favorite.
I talked to my health insurance agent, Scott Deter today. I had worked with his dad Tim Deter for years. Scott told me his dad had died two weeks ago. I got pretty choked up about it.
We needed to have J on the call but she wasn’t feeling well. We’ll try again on Friday at 3pm.
Heard from a friend of mine from the old days in Kenya, Mayur Patel. Mom said she got to talk to him today. Happy about that.
Processed checks and deposited them.
Just keep putting in the time.
We had about a hundred people come for our Christmas party. We sang my version of “Silver Bells” and I told the Christmas story. Then we let the kids pick out a gift. I still can’t get over picking out 88 gifts and costing $182! That’s from the Dollar Tree!
Good times!

I heard from Janice today. I made the SS class a video saying, “Thanks!” Sent it to her.

I put in calls and texts to Scott Deter. We’ll have a chat about J’s insurance tomorrow at 1 PM.
We called Nana’s eye doctor’s office today to find out about her insurance situation. Looks like her co-pay may go up a bit. But the really expensive shots ($15,000!), will be covered. Amen.
Called the Capital One Visa card people. We got my Mom’s bills sent here instead of Georgetown, TX. Lots of securiity.
I called my yard guy to blow my roof and clean the gutters. I’m sure I’ll hear back from him soon.
It’s been freezing.
Went by my office to pick up checks and some supplies for the Christmas party. Watered my ficus.
The girls went with me to the Dollar Tree to pick up some presents for the party. The tariffs really hit the toy market hard. Got less and cost nearly double.
Listened to Don Cheto on the way home.
Gassed up my car and checked the oil.
Keep going.
Groovy, baby.

Even with the cold, I choose to sit outside and study.
I let the manager know that we are having the Christmas Party on Wednesday because of rain on Thursday.
I took K to the heart doctor today. Unfortunately, we went to the wrong office. The other office wasn’t far away. No one seemed uptight about it. The Medical Plaza 2 building was incorrect.
The only available CT scan for K is in Covington. We had to cancel the dentist cleanings for my Mom and me in order to go to the hospital that has this equipment.
Cold!
K and I ate at Matthews in Tucker. Excellent.
Went to FBA to pick up the gift from the SS class. Thanks!
Heard from my friend Buck Birch who is in charge of missions for the GBC.
PIcked up groceries.
Keep going. It’ll be tight for 1-3rd place this week for sure.

I have hundreds of videos of the teams coming to work with me.
I like this. I think he’s right.
Perfect weather for yard work. Cool and dry.

I set up bird feeders near where I sit and study Spanish in the mornings. I was impressed by the quality of the image from my iPhone 16 Pro Max. The Eastern Bluebird is one of my favorites. I love the way they fly. They snatch insects out of the air. He’s eating suet that’s fallen onto the ground.
I have fun when I talk to Anthony. He’s hilarious.
Listened to Don Cheto. I was hearing almost all the words. If you know all the words they’re saying, that’s 95% of comprehension. Most of the time is was just a blur of meaningless sounds. Now, it’s like, “Oh, that’s what they’re saying.”
I hauled over thirty large tarp loads of leaves. They were dry which makes the job easier.
It’s a huge amount of leaves.
My tarp carries lots of leaves.
I picked up lots of sticks.
Blowing is part of the cleaning process. I rake all the heavy stuff. Then do the fine clean up with the blower.
Crazy how azaleas bloom in winter. Not a lot of flowers, but some.
Reset the timer for the lights. I needed the extension cord it was plugged into for the blower.
There are hardly any leaves left on the trees, so it should stay nice.
Cleaning the driveway and street in front of my house is a big part of the job.
I put the leaves in a row near the bottom of my property.
Cleaned and refilled my four bird-baths.
I put on the faucet protectors. We are expecting a hard freeze in a few days.
Part of the job is storing all my tools properly. Cords wound up and stashed. Wheel barrow and tarp put under shelter. My grandfather used to say, “With careful use you get long use.” It’s true.
Nana heard from her friend.
Won’t stop.

I enjoy looking for ways to play and understand Arc Raiders better. The game won the Multiplayer Game of the Year!
I’m glad to see at least some Republicans are doing the right thing. Just not enough.

Wrote Scott Deter a note about J’s health insurance.

Lovely weather but getting ready to get really cold next week.
Fun chat with my buddy, Anthony.
Took Nana to get a wash and dry and her nails done. Then we ate at LT.
Worked about an hour on my Mom’s online SS account. Got most of it working. Called the bank to ask about the updated checking account number. She told me she had given it to the SSA but we needed to check to make sure it was correct. In order to talk to the SSA people I needed to get a PIN. Took a while just to get that, then they said it’d be a two hour wait to talk to someone. By that time the place would be closed. Guess that will be a next week job.
