K’s New Phone! PE! 3.13.25

Tim A. Cummins @ 9:28 pm

Lunar eclipse early this morning around 2:00 AM. Not sure I’m that gung ho about it to get up.

This looks almost exactly like Hwy 285 around Atlanta! Except it’s not a billion light years across.

Beauty!

I ran the tracking numbers for the two packages that I sent to my tax guys. They got there safely. Amen.

OYB!

For some reason my new phone doesn’t like to be charged with a USB-C cable. Weird, but it’s a known problem. It charges fine with the Mag system. I got a Mag charger from Anker to use while I’m studying Spanish outside. It does fine with my car charger as well as the cradle charger in my office. Weird.

I decided to get a pro involved to help me with The Food Forest Namibia website. I’ve done the hard part getting all the pictures and text together. I just need him to help make the site mobile friendly. Some of the process takes too long to figure out. If you’re doing it all the time it’s super easy. Like doing this blog. Sometimes I just have no idea why it’s doing something wrong on the website.

I backed up K’s old phone last night. I had already zeroed out my old one. Today J and I transferred her old iPhone 7 Pro Max into my old iPhone 11 Pro Max. It’s a significant upgrade and that phone is less than two years old.

EspaƱol!

I love my pink magnolias.

I got the Mail app on my iPhone working. It needed access to my Gmail account.

My brother called me to let me know that my Mom was available for a chat. Turned out her phone doesn’t ring, it just flashes a red light! That’s why she hadn’t heard me calling.

Penelope wants to play the bass. Miles and I talked about one of our favorite bassists, Stanley Clarke.

I helped K pick out a new phone case.

I let Roopa know about the ticket change and later gave her some contact numbers for another friend, Cathy Palmer.

K and I took the girls to Piccadilly. The girls weren’t impressed.

Rain kept me from going to the Mission today. Hard to tell when we’ll get back inside since we’re waiting on the Chamblee code people to let the construction guys finish the job.

I didn’t see a way to do this on my TV. Supposed to make games look even better.

I liked the turtle Penelope made.

Got some new protectors for Penelope’s tablet.

Sweet ol’ Ryder with his good boy “Howdy” hat.

I was talking to Ashley about her new car (the Kia that Miles had been driving.) I told her she didn’t need to get two keys with remote control. She could use the regular car door key for her hide a key.

Just keep going.
