I got word from Bill about his website. I contacted Mustafa and heard back from him. We had a zoom call and worked for over two hours trying to figure it out. I also got Jessi involved. Between all of us we got it figured out. At least I hope so!
Keep going. I didn’t study as long today because of dealing with the website situation.

I heard from a team coming in May today. Excellent!
My files were marked delivered by the USPS today. Amen. I’ll get my $31 back. They were supposed to get it there by Saturday. It got there this afternoon. Four days late.
The girls and I continued on the Monkey Grass project. I taught them how to plant them and then push the soil down hard around the plant. We did them in rows of eighteen. They could put all eighteen plants in the ground in less than three minutes! It took me longer to dig all the holes and put a couple of plants in each hole to be planted.
Is your license Real ID? If so, it will have a star at the top right.
I’ve been in touch with my tech guy in Bangladesh to help figure out why Dr. Bill isn’t able to upload files to his website.
I’m always learning words.
The files I sent to the IRS were supposed to be there on Saturday. Still not there. I got error messages as well.
OYB!
I came in #1 in the leagues last week. Not sure I’ll even make the top four this week because of Spring Break with the girls. We’ll see.
Picked up the girls, we had breakfast at McD.
Over 2″ of rain at my house.
Went by the church to check the mail.
We had a good time at Fernbank Museum. Enjoyed seeing the new Dino Exhibit. The girls got some beautiful rocks at the gift shop. It’s our favorite part! We enjoyed the 3D T. Rex movie. It was cool.
They are enjoying Nana’s bed and TV, but they said there wasn’t enough room for three people! They are really growing up. We went to the very top of Fernbank which is very “kid oriented.” The hollow tree that you climb in– that kind of stuff. We went up there and the girls saw all these little kids playing and suddenly I don’t think they thought that place was very cool any more. It was definitely PACKED with little kids. We really have enjoyed the outdoor part of Fernbank the best. There are lots of climbing things we think are fun. That was out today because of the weather.
Contacted a friend of mine from First Baptist Atlanta.
Watered my upstairs plants.
I’ve recently seen and heard evidence of rodents. Back to trapping them.
Working out logistics for being with the girls. They are such a blessing.
I uploaded the pictures I took of the team yesterday. I also edited and uploaded the video I shot. Then I sent the Thank You email which includes all the links.
I bought an extension cord for my projector at the church. I like that it can lay flat.
OYB!
Heavy weather blew through.
The letter that I sent to the IRS was supposed to get there on Saturday. Still not there. Looks like I’ll be getting my $31 back. Hopefully, it’ll be delivered tomorrow.
I started the next section of the monkey grass project. Started sprinkling so I gave up. My back is still not doing well. Probably better that I rest for a while.
Picked up Thai for J.
Watered my indoor plants.
Talked to Blue Host about Dr. Bill’s website problem for over and hour. They said they had to get someone else to look at it.
Ashley brought the girls over to the church this morning to spend the day with me. Kathy came down a few hours later. GREAT to have her on board too.
After the team finished at Azalea, Everly helped me strike the set. Amen.
I filled up my car and checked the oil on the way home.
Keep going!
I had a great time with my team from Christ Church, Birmingham, AL! I did the briefing on Hinduism and Buddhism and took them to Al Madina for lunch. They really enjoyed the middle eastern food.
We went on Safari to the BAPS temple and to China Town.
Then to Azalea to work with the kids.
They brought a cotton candy machine!
Fun day!

Bluehost! Podcast! Jon! Taxes! 4.4.25
Woke up to a frantic email from my brother in law. I spent over an hour with Bluehost trying to figure out the problem. The tech thought it was a storage issue. I spent near $650 to get more storage per month. I sure hope it fixes the issue.

Español! 1958 is my birth year. Sounds like a long time ago doesn’t it?
Went to the UPS store to mail back 2 USB-C cords.
My sundew plants are blooming! All of them seem like they are ok after the transplanting.
Got all my tools together to harvest and transplant.
First, you have to rake the area you’re getting ready to harvest. Ideally, it should only be dirt and monkey grass. It’s full of leaves and other plants before I work on it.
I got several hundred plants.
I’ve been working in the very back corner of their yard. You can’t see it from their house really.
I thought this was cool.
I finished off the first third today. Hopefully, I have enough plants to finish the south side.
The azaleas have been incredible this year.
I’m trying to do the hard job of digging done asap. The weather will start getting really hot soon. It’s fun to have a project and work hard and see the vision come to pass.
Lots of digging and planting today.
Then blow the driveway and water the plants. Lots of pollen fronds.
I called Bluehost to check up on the error message Bill Doverspike was getting. He just has to wait and try later.
Last part of the job was watering.
Washed the deck.
I listened to Spanish music while I worked.
I added another team to the list today. Amen.
Got warm this afternoon. Perfect really.
I called my credit union to make sure that they got my last check. The mail in this city is so bad.
Always fun to show people around. Especially if it generates business, which it will!
The church secretary had my newsletters ready to go by 11. I came into town to get them done and in the mail.
Once I had the newsletter project complete, I turned my sites towards confirming the rest of the locations for the team coming from Alabama. I covered four sites and talked to three managers. Amen.
There’s a new leader for Cross Cultural Ministries. I was hoping to meet her today. She wasn’t there. I met a couple of the other staff.
Dogwoods are blooming! That’s supposed to indicate Easter is near.
I tried to call my Mom today. So far no luck using FaceTime.
Helped the kids at the mission.
Some of the younger kids just draw.
Helped one of the kids with gravity problems the other with reading and some math.
Then we did races. The kids really enjoy that.
Listened to Don Cheto on the way home.
I did a promo for Taco Veloz for their media. They had a marketing company come by and shoot a video. I did the English and a Spanish version. They thought both were great.
It makes all of the studying pay off. Don Cheto and Duolingo is a killer combo for me. I’ve really seen progress in my comprehension level because of listening to that podcast.

Started transplanting the monkey grass that I harvested last week. Raked first. Then dug holes and put two plants in each hole.
After I have them planted, I press the dirt down around it hard with my shoe. Final step is water the plants thoroughly.
Mileage.
My shovel came in a big box. I asked Ashley if she wanted a piece to do art with. She’s made some wonderful pieces on cardboard. And these pieces are big. Most of them the girls and I will do projects with.
I ate lunch with the girls at Cicis. They eat the pizza but they love the desserts.
They like the driving game.
Ryder took Labooboo (Everly’s new favorite plushie) outside to play with it. Everly was screaming like she had a knife in her. I got it back from the dog, cleaned it up and she was pretty much ok. She eventually hugged the pup, too.
I thought the pollen stains on these rocks were cool.
My baby pink magnolia has started putting out leaves. I’m watching it carefully for white powder mildew. I have the Neem oil to use on her this year.
Helped the kids at the mission.
Never too much Ashley.
We’ve enjoyed Carter Vail.
Deposited checks. Thank you so much, Father.
I’m going to clobber everybody this week.
