Studying the Minor Pentatonic scale on the guitar.
Edited the video I shot of FBC Trussville. Uploaded it to YouTube. Sent the Thank You letter with all of the photo galleries and the video. That marks the team complete.
Been watching guitar videos.
Got some mosquito medicine ordered so the water for the carnivorous plants doesn’t breed them.
OYB!
Great temperatures. I often call this “Nakuru weather.”
Even though I’ve read the whole Bible through nearly 37 times, I still notice things I haven’t seen before. Today I realized that Judas went with Jesus to see Caiphus.

Coordinating with our friend Roopa about the tickets from Austin to Atlanta on Thursday, June 28th.
Did my laundry.
I enjoy figuring out things about Horizon Forbidden West.
Bad Suns are one of my favorite bands. GREAT to hear that a new album is coming soon!
Ordered more cologne. My last bottle lasted almost exactly two years.
I got up at 5:45 AM all last week in order to get my study time in.
I reckon I’ll come in first this week.

I was reading about plants that are best for hummingbirds. I just ordered a coral honeysuckle on Amazon. I also got a fuchsia which is K’s favorite. I love them, too.
I did an abbreviated edition of the D Day show. The team leaders wanted to get to the missions early. I was fine with that although I was disappointed not to have that experience with them. They just don’t know what they’re missing. We had a great time together this week.
The weather was pretty good today. We did have some storms blow through.

Sent information about the locations to the team leaders this morning.
Sent the schedule to them.
The girls were such a big help to me today. The cut red threads, helped me clean up the room, put index cards and pens out. What a blessing.
In nearly thirty years of hosting teams, I can never remember a week with more rain. Tough on the teams!

We had lunch at the Hibachi Grill. I took the teams through the BAPS Temple. Good times. At the end of the day, the Temple opened up all the doors so the kids could see the idols. These shots are just half the group!
They really have been a wonderful team!

I’ve enjoyed watching the Eternaut in Spanish. It was made in Argentina. I liked how the kids were singing the same song that Everly was teaching me earlier in the day!
I had a good talk with Nana. I sent her pictures and a video from this year’s Kenya Safari Rally.

Fun chat with my buddy, Anthony.
Perfect weather. I call it “Nakuru Weather.”
Sprayed my roses with Neem oil. Got some more for later. Damn black spot.
Cleaned my bike and aired up the tires.
Good ride. Pushed myself but not too hard. I have some difficult hills for sure.
I set up a little area for me to jam. Wireless amp connected to my iPhone for music. Fender amp. Tried out my new Boss DTS-1 distortion pedal which sounds great even when not turned up very loud.
Decided to play my Les Paul Custom. It’s not nearly as heavy as my Les Paul Studio. The Custom is the guitar I played in Baylor. The Studio I played with Cruz here in the ATL.
Close competition for second and third place. I’m not uptight about it.
Ordered some new ear buds. My old ones suddenly disappeared. Weird.
I sent a package about my housing allowance to Paychex by hard copy Overnight Mail. It never got to Paychex. I went to the Post Office today to get help. The Postmaster contacted the Post Office in Phoenix, AZ. Apparently, that location no longer receives mail! So they are sending the package back to me. When I called Paychex about the situation, I was able to get the supervisor’s correct email. I sent him the package from my tax guy to him by email. We’ll see if it works out. I’ve done everything I can from my end.
Got a notification from one of my pastor friends about his team coming.
Picked up J’s meds from Publix.
Vocabulary.
Recorded and released a new episode of Verbal Surgery called, “The Weight of Wait.”
