Missionary Reunion! Cummins Family!
Just got back to Atlanta late last night. What a great trip!
I spent four days with some of my dearest friends: the missionaries that I grew up with.
We met at the Lakeview Encampment in Maypearl, TX. I led the music for the group and preached one evening.
It was wonderful to see all of them again.
Fun also to hang out with my brother and his family! Hard to believe that my little brother is a grandfather!
It was awesome to hang out with the sweet babies and terrific kids!
We even got to see one of Jim and my best friends from our radio days at Baylor Reid Stinnett. What a blast!
I did a lot of hiking in the bush around Georgetown. I enjoy looking for stone tools that the Tonkawa Indians made over 4,000 years ago! It was SO dry! Even the cactus was dying!
Only in Texas, baby!
Thanks to God, it started raining the weekend I was there!
Sunday morning I spoke to two different Sunday School classes, one at FBC Georgetown and the other at Main Street BC.
FUN!
Sad to say goodbye to my parents as I headed back to Atlanta!
Next trip out will be in a week to INDIA!
