Podcast! Shopping! Israel! Yard!

Tim A. Cummins @ 9:30 pm

Productive day!

A year ago today I first saw my hummingbirds back. I worked on cleaning the feeders again. I actually leave them up all year long. Wishful thinking I reckon. I have fewer each year. Same for honey bees.
s
I didn’t see them. : (

One of my favorite things: RECORDING!

Did the shopping at Walmart.

Exciting news! I’m headed to the Holy Land! I booked my tickets from the ATL to Tel Aviv for May 2nd coming home on the 16th.

I’m really looking forward to studying and learning more about Judaism and how it fits with what we believe as Christians. It’ll be a fun sabbatical!

After I figured out what flights to take (lots of things to consider!) I went outside and worked on the yard.

Mowed.

Raked.

s
Weeded.
s

Cleaned up. Very, very close to work.

I bought some little clay lamps from Israel a few months ago. My original plan didn’t work out. I had thought we would take them to Stone Mountain in the evening and have a prayer service.
s
They didn’t light up very well. And I found out we weren’t allowed on Stone Mountain after dark.

So I decided to paint them gold and give them as gifts to the team leaders who work with us!

Showered and looking forward to spending time with K. We enjoyed watching part of Foyle’s War.

This tree is a survivor!
