Railing! Jorge! Kelly & Jonathan! K&A!

Tim A. Cummins @ 10:11 pm

Here’s the railing I stained yesterday. I still have a little more to go.
r

I took Sugar for a 2 mile walk.
s
She wasn’t exactly enthusiastic.

Had a good lunch with some new partners. Jorge Romero is originally from Columbia. He’s been in Rome, GA for the last 20 years. Looks like the Lord is leading him to come to Atlanta now. I’m glad to be able to help get him started at Southern Trace in Sandy Springs.
b

We checked out the apartments at the complex.

s
Also met with Jonathan and Kelly Nolte. They just got here from San Antonio a few days ago. They came because of the influence of partners of mine that work with a bike ministry called Communicycle. I’m looking forward to working with them more closely. They may work at one of our missions.

Jorge, Bayo and I went to Southern Trace to meet with the manager and the regional manager of the property. They’re both friends of mine so I felt confident that they would offer us an apartment for Jorge and his wife to live in. Now I pray that Janet, Jorge’s wife, will think that the community will be a good one to work from.

I saw some of the girls at the mission.

g
And their little brother Diego. He makes the best faces.
d

K and I took the boys from Azalea to the swimming pool. We had fun. It’s been interesting teaching these guys how to swim.
k

Kathy’s a good teacher. She worked as a lifeguard for years.

We’re all hoping that Jesse will come back to Atlanta soon. In this video the boys are telling Jesse to “come back.”
Come back, Jesse! VIDEO

Back home finishing up admin duties.

Still not sure what I think about this ad campaign.

Delivered! A&M!

Tim A. Cummins @ 9:18 am

Monday morning I went to my treasurer’s house to deliver my financial report.
r

I put the other copy to our sponsoring church in the mail. GREAT to have that job done!

Did the family shopping for the week. (Or until the girls tell me otherwise.)
s

Went to N. Lake Mall to meet up with Ashley and Miles.
m

A needed a new external hard drive for her computer and I needed to pick up a charger/headset for Kathy for her iPhone!

Hard to believe that K has actually entered into the 21st century! She even has an email address and can text!

The kids and I are still blown away by that. My wife is really smart so learning this stuff isn’t a problem for her. She loves being outside and having the iPhone lets her be outside AND have a computer. I’m happy about that!
