Always great to see people take a stand for the Lord!

Then on safari to Plaza Fiesta!
s
s

Always something unusual to see.
s
s
s
s
Trey and Shelby were great leaders! Great to have another baby around!
s
Went on safari to Enigmas. We don’t often take teams there because the owner doesn’t want too many people in the store at one time.

Santa Muerta. Weirdness.
d

Magnificent Baby, has been a bit under the weather the last few days.
s
She’s had a slight cough. I was glad that Ashley took her to the doctor this afternoon. Her lungs were clear, she didn’t have a fever and was given some meds to take. PTL for that!

Always something unusual to see at the Farmers Market.
d
d

We had some bad news this afternoon. While we were at the Buford Highway Farmers Market, one of the team’s vehicles got broken into. I hate that.
s

I spent the an hour with Mark, taking him to my glass guy and making sure his car got fixed up.

Then on to the missions to check on the teams!
s
s
s
s

Stopped back at the church on the way home to pick up some supplies and then fought bad traffic back home.

Finally got home around 8pm. Long day for Mr. Tim.

Admin duties now. Looking forward to spending time with K. We had fun watching Sherlock.

We tried a totally different set up. We’re still fine tuning it.
s

We took them on safari to Global Mall to eat and see the Shiv Mandir Hindu Temple.
s
s
Penelope always makes friends wherever she goes!
s

Then over to the BAPS Hindu temple: the third largest in the WORLD!
s
s

s

Al Madina was next to soak up some Middle Eastern culture.

Ashley, Penelope and I went around the missions to check on the team. She’s been coughing. So sad to hear her.

I had to stop on the way home and take a nap. Exhausted. Not safe to drive like that.

Enjoyed watching the final episode of Longmire with K. I’m glad they’re working on Season 5!

Admin duties now then rest.

My left ear is super congested. Can’t hear much out of it. Pray that the Eustachian tube will clear and let the pressure off.

Beautiful sunset! It will be one of the last I shoot at the mission for a while. Time change next week! I like it better going home in the light.

Roopville Road BC! New Heights BC!

Tim A. Cummins @ 11:20 pm

Before I left town, I gave myself a haircut.
s

I always leave my hair clippings for the birds.
s
I’ve heard they use them to line their nests. Another weird thing I do.

I make a special blend of bird food. I’ve included more cat food in this mix. Crows love it! I find it ironic.
s
s

Over 3/4″ of rain on Friday.
s

Went to my office to pick up more supplies for the event this weekend.
s
Because I have been sick, I requested not to stay at a church member’s home. Didn’t feel good about exposing anyone else to the virulence I had. The Hampton Inn was really nice.
s

I had a fun weekend with the great folks at Roopville Road Baptist Church in Carrollton, GA.
s
s
I always love to talk about missions.
s

s

I got to talk to the whole congregation on Sunday evening.

I thought Pastor Steven did a great job.
s

I had my booth set up to interact with the congregation.
s

Got up early Monday morning, to make my way back to the ATL.
s

Met up with Ashley at 10am to have a briefing with our first Spring Break team of the year, New Heights Baptist Church, Mississippi.
s
s
Glad to see my Little Partner as well!

Great to be with my girls again.
s

We helped the kids at Azalea.
s

Also checked on the teams at the complexes.

Came home to watch Longmire with Kathy. Sure was glad to be home. Tired.

I’m still sick. Coughing primarily with nasal congestion and ears stopped up.

Admin duties now. Trying to go to bed early.

The Cherry Blossom trees are looking fantastic.
s

Beautiful sunset.

Sick!

Tim A. Cummins @ 7:38 pm

Man, I sure have felt sick.

This is the worst I’ve felt in years.

Monday night came down with chills and fever. Not sure how high, over 102.

Tuesday, ran hot most of the day. Started taking 1,000 mg of acetaminophen every six hours. Splitting headache and coughing.

I did manage to upload the podcast that I’d recorded and got it posted on Facebook.
s
s
Wednesday, my fever started to normalize due to the meds. Headache came and went over and over.

Thursday, my head was better. Still coughing. Headache for hours. Sewed up the small holes in Ashley 3 Piece dress.

Ate at American Deli. Pouring rain and some sleet.
s

Today, Friday, my temperature has been normal. Talked to my partners at Roopville Road Baptist Church in Carrollton, GA to let them know what’s going on. Feeling better over all, but that’s not saying much.

I’d say I’m about 20% my normal feeling of tiger tankness.

Went to eat at Golden Corral. Came home. Slept an hour and a half.

Fixed my house slipper with my new heavy duty needles. Seems to work so far.

Been watching a lot of the 100 and Longmire. Kathy has been watching with me. The first two nights I wouldn’t let her come near me. She got so sad that I made her sign a card saying she wouldn’t blame me if she got sick, then let her come hang out with me. I felt so bad I was hesitant to let anyone come near me.

Tomorrow I’ll go to the conference in Carrollton. I only have one speaking engagement. The rest of the time it’s just talking to people standing by a booth. Shouldn’t be too bad.

The doctor told me (in the past) that once I’ve gone 24 hours without any fever I’m not contagious. Still, I told the church that I wasn’t willing to put another family at risk who was planning on housing me for the two nights. I told them I’d pay for a hotel. They told me they appreciated my attitude and that getting me a hotel wasn’t a problem. Thanks for that!

Sometimes the hardest part is just talking all the time. (Even for me!) I need to do my thing, then go back to the hotel and rest. Period.

I’m definitely better, but.

I’ve really missed hanging out with Ashley and the Magnificent Baby. But I don’t want the infant anywhere near me. Ash says she’s been doing fine. Miles was really sick a few days ago. Thank you, Jesus for keeping her safe.

You know I’m sick when I’ve only taken four pictures in three days. Whoa.

Podcast! Recon! AP!

Tim A. Cummins @ 7:58 pm

Monday was fun! Until the evening . . .

Started out with recording! Love that!
s

This one will get you fired up! Check out “Fire and Lightning!”

Did the grocery shopping at Walmart.
d

Met up with Ashley and Penelope at FBC Doraville. We saw the new plans for the park behind the church.
s

We ate Brazilian in Marietta. One of our favorites.

Then talked to Eastside Baptist Church, FBC Marietta, Roswell Road BC and Johnson Ferry Baptist Church about lodging for our teams. Didn’t get any solid YES answers, but made a good start.
s
s
s
s

I sent the girls on home, then went to work at Azalea with the kids.
s
s

Gassed up the car. It was $1.45 just last week.
s

Super tired when I got home. Then later that night started with chills and fever.

That’s not zesty. I didn’t have a thermometer when I felt the hottest, but this morning I still had a temperature of 102.

Tuesday I’ve spent the entire day in bed. I slept 16 hours.

I ate some toast a little while ago and took some tylenol. I’m feeling a bit better. Amen to that!

Admin duties now.

I’ve seen this sticker, but never the fine print.
