Had a great Outreach Event with my church at Shallowford Pines. The kids really enjoyed it. The team did great job.

Came home to spend time with my plants. It’s great to see things flower even in the winter time.

The grand girls spent the night last night. I didn’t sleep that great. Got maybe five hours sleep.

Today, I preached at my friend Carl Barrington‘s funeral. Having little sleep made it even more emotional. But it’s good to get it all out.

Enjoyed a delicious meal with the family after the funeral at the church. Rested the rest of the day. This picture was at their daughter’s wedding.

Watching better play Oklahoma right now. We’re clobbering them!

Took the grand girls and Kathy out to eat at IHOP.

Went to the mission to help the children with their homework. They didn’t have very much. The kids don’t come out when it’s so cold.


Blew the driveway.

Went to Walmart to get Ashley birthday cake with the girls. Got some things to decorate the cake with that the kids could have fun with.

Cold night! Was all the way down to the teens at one time here in Stone Mountain.

Brain training and studying Spanish every day.

I received the sad news that my good friend Carl Barrington died today. I’ll be preaching part of the eulogy for him this weekend. That’ll help me have some closure on all of us.

Ashley brought the grand girls over this morning. That’s always fun.

Today I took them to Goodwill. We got some fun toys for a great price!

Went by my office to check the mail.

I used the hideakey at Ashley’s house today. Turned out I had the key the whole time.

Helped the kids at the mission. It seems to make a difference for the kids who come regularly. It takes that one on one time to help the kids really understand it.

Got groceries.

Deposited checks.

Gassed up my car.

Studied the Spanish version of Harry Potter on the way home. I’ll let some of the kids try and take the Duolingo test stuff. They seem to do OK. They don’t always write Spanish as well as they speak it.

Penelope went through a kindergarten level little book that she was filling out. It was fun to see her going into her little school girl mode.

A long term goal for me is to teach this one to the Grandgirls.

Got my new, cold-weather clothes in today for my 14.70 mile bike ride.

Still tweaking some things but overall it was a good experience.

Absolutely beautiful outside, the lighting, and the brilliantly colored leaves, make the experience incredible! Go outside spend some time with nature. Reap the rewards of being part of nature.

Ashley and I had a fun time this evening with our team from Georgia southern university. We hope they will come back and work with us later.

My friends at the UK Hypnosis convention had a good time today. My good friend Anthony Jacquin gave the keynote address after an introduction that I wrote for him. Fun day!

Played some God of War this afternoon.

I continued watching the Netflix documentary on Bill Gates last night. Such a good show! Highly recommend.

One of my best friends is Carl Barrington. It looks like he’s almost ready to go be with the Lord. Had a good time with him today. Sad to think he probably won’t be with us much longer. I’ve nearly been killed six times. So I know what it’s like to stare death in the face. You have to live with passion and with urgency. That also is a way of life.

Went to Azalea to watch the grand girls this afternoon. We had a good time together as always.
