I ordered a new phone holder for my car. I haven’t been satisfied with what I have now.

I added a guitar strap to my weed whacker. That addition made it more comfortable to work with.
Blew the roof and gutters.
Then I had to blow the deck, front porch and driveway.
Worked on the roof and the clean up for slightly over two hours and .90 miles.
Got the weed whacker together and cut the South end of my back yard.
The hardest part of the day was trimming the holly bushes. Super stickery.
Added lots of branches to my bush pile.
Orded more trimmer string.
Added more music to my Spanish play list. Enjoyed listening to that while I worked.
The new Juanpalitoschinos album came out today. Such a great band.
Last part of the job is putting all the equipment back and cleaning shoes.
Worked another 3:18 hours and walked another 1.17 miles in the back yard. I still have half of it to go. I did the hardest part today.
I added the guitar strap to the weed whacker. My next alteration is adding a strip of velcro to cinch the trigger down.
Glad to see the Hickels are coming back to see me this Summer. Amen. They’ll be the only full week team of the year. They’re bringing 16 people. That will really help the ministry.
Ordered a new pair of shoes. I wore my last ones out.
I called my Mom tonight. She’s still at the hospital in rehab. J and K also got to say hi.
I sent a cushion to Jodie Steger yesterday. Let her know about the gift.
Ordered some new swim trunks. I like wearing them around the house when it’s hot.
Got a message from my brother about my Mom being in the hospital. She has a hairline crack in her hip. Ouch. Called her today.
I’m trying to work with some of my neglected plants. One of them was this succulent. I pulled the living pieces off. I hope they’ll root.
Defrosted my freezer. It was a big mess.

Prepped my bike and rode 12.41 miles. Listened to Don Cheto while I rode.
Had a good talk with my Mom. She’s in Room 303 in Georgetown Hospital.
I sent a seat cushion like I got my Mom to another of our good friends who lives in Georgetown, Jodie Steger. She and her husband Charlie are watching Nana’s dog.
Keep going.

Went to FBC Doraville to take the secretary my newsletters. She copied them while I waited. I then folded and stuffed the envelopes and took them to the Post Office to get them in the mail.
Went to the bank to deposit checks. Thank you, Father.
Went to Walmart to pick up some chocolate for the secretary at church and for K.
Had a good talk with my Mom. I ordered her a seat cushion. It has really helped K with her back and hip pain.
I need to take the Azalea manager a $2 check.
Lovely day. Great for biking. My favorite is when it’s about 80 degrees.
Vacuumed the house. Then cleaned the vacuum cleaner.
Listened to Don Cheto while I was riding my bike.
Usually when I take pictures of “zipper” clouds, the zipper is always on one side. This one was unusual.
Biked 12.49 miles.

Ordered groceries this morning and picked them up this evening.
The bike ride smelled great because of all the gardenias blooming. I brought more inside to enjoy.
Put the dog food in my storage bin.
Went to Ann’s house to take her some food and tea. I also got her phone and charger to work. Always something. If that phone goes down, she’s in a world of hurt.
I finished drying out the sphagnum moss and put it in a gallon ziplock bag.
Post Office to buy stamps for the newsletters.
Got gas. Checked the fluids. The oil seems to be holding at a little over half on the stick.

Hot today.
Deposited money at the bank.
Did some research on a life alert button for my sister in law Ann.
K and I enjoyed Chinese food. Brought some to Ann. Got Thai for J.
Went to Ann’s house to give her some food, fix her TV remote and clean out her ice machine.
I’ve been needing some bigger pots. Someone had these out by the curb. Noice. I have a couple of plants in mind. Good news is that I recently got a big bag of potting soil for my baby banana plants. So I have plenty for this project.
Recorded Verbal Surgery “The Forever Pill.” Downloaded onto my Mac Air, then uploaded it to my server. On Facebook.
I’ll come in #2 this week. The guy who came in #1 put up a gigantic amount of points. Maybe the most I’ve ever seen in one week.

I took the girls to Evergreen to swim. We got there around 10:00 AM so we had the pool to ourselves. I had them swimming laps. We got really tired, but a fun tired! We ate at Hot and Cold for lunch. It’s one of their favorites.
Came home and took naps. Jessi and Penelope enjoyed playing PS3 when they woke up.
I transplanted my three Nepenthes carnivorous plants today. I got sphagnum moss that looked like a board! After adding water and fluffing it up, it was fine.
I transplanted them from 4″ to 7″ pots. It’s a very delicate operation. It’s not easy to detangle the roots from the moss. Then I replanted them with fresh moss.
I cleaned out the area where the pot had been.
Then put all the plants back.
Final part was to squeeze out as much water as possible from the moss and put it on plastic lid with a fan to dry. In a couple of days, I’ll put it in a large ziplock baggie for the next project.
Keep going.

I normally study Spanish while I walk. Unfortunately, Mint mobile doesn’t have good internet and I wasn’t able to do that. I only walked .45 miles. Decided studying was more important.
I tackled a massive job today: organizing the school stuff. It was a hard and nasty job. Rats and gotten into it. Gross.
Better now.
I took some of the stuff to Ashley and Miles’ house, some to my office at the church, and threw some stuff away.
Took the girls to Waffle House. They were really cracking up.
Went to my office to drop stuff off, check the mail and water my ficus.
Went to Goodwill. I wanted to get a back pack for the summer school material. I found this little trampoline for $13. They’re having fun on it.
Went by UPS to drop off a shirt K didn’t like to send back to Amazon.
Took them to MJ’s to eat. I’ve never seen any person get that much corn. She ate over half of it. It was the first time I’ve ever let Everly do her own plate. Not sure that was a good idea.
Keep going.

Gwinnett County water guys came to our neighborhood this morning. They brought a back hoe to work on my neighbor’s yard. They were trying to make the grass look better. I was glad they didn’t have to turn off the water again.
It’s still nice, but definitely getting hot in the afternoon.
Because of the noise of the back hoe, I decided to do my hike in another neighborhood that also has a big hill like my street. Not as big, but still steep.
K and I went to Walmart to pick up popsicles for the kids as they got off the bus.
We had a fun time at the party. I like giving things to the adults too.
Went to my office to check the mail and use the bathroom.
Ate at Buford Highway Farmers Market.
Village Park for exercise.
K and I had a good visit with Ashley and Miles after we came back from the park.
Picked up a pizza for J on the way home.
Enjoying playing Fallout 4. It’s been really fun to have a game I’m looking forward to playing.
