Laundry!
Watered my downstairs plants.
Started propagating cuttings from the Japanese Laurel plant by my window. I’ve had the little branches in water for the last couple of weeks. It recommended that I put the plants in a mixture of perlite and soil that is wet rather than just water.
I had to wash and drain the perlite until the water runs pretty clear. I did it five times. Rinse, wash, repeat.
Set up the work area. I have a tarp to keep my floor clean.
Trimmed half of each leaf off to reduce the water necessary for the roots. Mixed soil in the with perlite. Very wet, almost slushy.
I threw the rest away.
Rather than making a bunch of individual planters, I’ll keep all the plants together in the flat container. You can see the soil mix in the closeup shot.
Went to the bank to deposit checks. Thank you, Father.
I got the bike rack out so I can take Beauty to Aztec Cycle for repair. Brake cable needs to be replaced. I’ll get a general tune up while it’s in there.
Paid my property taxes.
Swept my outside carpet area. I shook out and hung up the tarp to dry.
I have my gloves folded inside out so the fan can dry out the fingers.
Put the bike rack on the Honda.
Went to Stone Mountain to record “Pressurized.” Released it.
My goal is to be in the top three. I’ve had a score this high one week and came in fifth.

Great time with Brain Training last night with my EEG sensor and Lumenate.
I’m interested in the body’s electrical fields.
Jodie sent my Mom a new pillow. It’ll help her shoulder while she’s sleeping.

HOT.
J and I went to Lowes to pick up supplies for the arm we’re building for her computer.
Dropped J off at our house and went to El Torerros to get food.
J had her therapy in Nana’s room. The whole family participates. They talk a lot about pain. They’re going through a course on it.
J and I went through K’s GLP-1 medicine records to try and figure out exactly how much we’re spending each month. Then I started following leads on third party providers like AltRx. It’s a complicated subject.
Helped J build a new base pole for her computer monitor.
Did my brain training with my new Luminate device and my headset. So much fun to explore what my brain can do.
Confirmed an eye appointment for my Mom.

Felt hot today.
Had a good visit with Hyacinth from Rockbridge BC. She’s the new missions coordinator for the church.
Talked to our health insurance agent about K’s GLP-1 meds.
Went by my office to check the mail.
K and I took P out for Cheeseburger Bobby’s. Everly was at her Flagarrette practice.
I brought some cups for stacking and my pen for her to draw. How many cups are in this picture? Are you sure? It almost looks like something MC Escher would do.
Custard for a treat. We for sure didn’t tell Everly about that!
Went to Huntley Hills to pick up Everly.
Went to Azalea to help the kids. We got almost all the homework done yesterday. Had a little bit more to do today.
My Lumenate came in last night. Absolutely fascinating! Incredible visuals. My brain syncs up with the flashing lights and helps with my brain training.
Background on the technology.
EEG training uses feedback. The Lumenate generates the experience without that feedback.
Seems hot but tolerable in the shade.

Set up a lunch with Jon Paul for next week on the 23rd.
Texting our health insurance agent about these GLP-1 shots that K is on. So many choices!
Sent a letter to my friend Ron Wallace who works for WTOC in Savannah, GA. Every time I get a box of these Krispy Kremes I think of him.
K stayed home today. Her leg was bothering her. She’ll come with me tomorrow. Whenever I’m by myself driving, I always listen to Don Cheto.
Went to FBCD to check the mail.
Just me and Penelope today. What a blessing. We ate at Cici’s then went to an antique store to look around.
P and I went to Huntley Hills to meet up with Everly and Ashley.
Helped the kids at the Mission.
I’ll probably come in second this week.

I originally crafted my website with HTML. It’s my life’s work on line: www.whirlwindmissions.org. Twenty-five years ago today. Wow.

Still seems hot.
Cleaned and refilled my feeders. I have six big ones. The hummingbirds are not drinking as much of it because only the juveniles are left. They’ll be gone soon. I change it weekly to keep the solution from fermenting in the heat.
Recorded a new episode of Verbal Surgery called, “Water.” My batteries conked out on the last five minutes, so it’s also the “endless episode.” No way I was going to re-record forty minutes of podcast.
Deposited checks. Thank you, Father!
I’ll come in first place this week. Claire, who is third place, has been competing with me over the last five weeks. I’m sure she doesn’t like to see me in the same lineup.
