Cirrus! Downtown! Dali!
Had a fun day!
Went downtown to see the Dali exhibit at the High Museum in Atlanta!
Not sure if you enjoy his work but many of his paintings are on my favorites list.
On the way downtown, I was struck by the wispy Cirrus clouds. Fantastic formations.
Made it downtown just fine and really enjoyed walking around the city looking at the fantastic buildings and enjoying the cooler air.
The Dali exhibit was incredible.
My all time favorite is his “melting clocks” picture which is called the Persistence of Memory. I saw that earlier this year in the Museum of Modern Art in NYC.
But his St. John on the Cross was there as well as many of his sketches.
I went to the exhibit with brother in law Bill Doverspike and his girlfriend Deborah. It was fun hanging out with them too!
On the way home, I stopped at Best Buy to purchase a flash drive for a computer project that Jesse is working on. 8 Gigabytes for $19! That’s amazing.
I remember a time years ago when I thought, “A gigabyte! I couldn’t use that up in my whole life!” HA! I have over a Terabyte of video on one expansion hard drive that I’ve shot!
Back home now, finishing up my admin work. Looking forward to a relaxing evening. Awesome day!
