Newsletters!

Tim A. Cummins @ 10:06 pm

Got up early this morning and started working on my email and blogs.  I uploaded the last of the pictures I took last night.

Wrote my article for this month’s newsletter.

Jesse and I went to the Post Office to get stamps for the letters.  I had enough envelopes, papers and labels.

We ate Vietnamese food at Pho Truc in Clarkston.  I’m still tasting it.  Not sure that’s a good thing.
p
I talked with the manager at Indian Creek.

We have a family that Cathy Palmer is working with that had their carpet flooded by a leaking fridge.  I went there to make sure that her carpet issue was taken care of.  I’m pretty sure it’ll be fixed tomorrow morning. My buddy Bill Hickey will make sure that the team knows what they’re doing when they paint the apartment this weekend.

I had the kids at the mission at Azalea help me label our newsletters.  They’re always good sports about it.  I usually go buy them a couple of boxes of doughnuts to say “Thanks.”  They sure can gobble down doughnuts!

Kathy Wilson and her daughter Debra came to help us at Azalea today! She’s the nurse on our team. She came to check on the girls having babies.

I couldn’t believe that this guy was holding his car together with tape. And not even DUCT tape!
t
Went over to Walmart to buy candy for the kids for Halloween.  I’ll throw candy this Wednesday.  I leave for Texas Thursday morning.

I had a great talk with my Dad this afternoon.  I’ll be speaking at his church this weekend.  Sure do miss seeing them.  Kathy was lucky having her folks live in Atlanta.  And all her brothers and sisters.  Groovy.

Got to spend some time with Ashley tonight!

Chatta!

Tim A. Cummins @ 8:55 am

Kathy and I got back home last night after a few days of rest in Chattanooga.  We had a great time.

We bought new shoes on the way up there.

Even drove through a fire on the side of the road.

First day was rainy, but we still had fun!
r
Long bike rides included 10 miles up to Cash Canyon road, and 8 miles around Chattanooga.

I enjoyed seeing the Orchid Store on the North Shore of Chatta.

One of our favorites was also seeing the Messiah’s Mansion–a true representation of the Sanctuary that Moses built.

It’s good to be home, but the work has piled up!
