Podcast! Urban Plunge!

Tim A. Cummins @ 11:39 pm

Stayed up late Father’s Day evening to record a new favorite podcast! “Pennies!” Discover the wonders around you. It’s the little things that count . . . and add up!

This morning our whole family met with the leadership from Mobilizing Students to work out the final logistics for the teams working with us this week. We have over 160 students from Florida, Texas, Arkansas and Mississippi serving in 15 locations around Chamblee and Doraville.

I gave them my “Take the Church, To the People”/Cambodia presentation and shared with them how to round up the kids at the missions.

They seemed to be a really great group!

Back home not to rest and work on Admin Duties. I’m a bit tired since I also ran 2.25 miles this afternoon. My knee has been bothering me the last week, so it’s good to get back on the road!

Beautiful sunset as I left Crosspointe church this evening.
ss
GREAT to reestablish relationships with that church.

Over an inch of rain the last couple of days. Always good!
r

Mowed the yard this morning. Big job! Lotsa dust and fumes!
y

We enjoyed hanging out with Jesse today. We saw this big Bison near Montana Ted’s.
k
Came home to rest and work on admin duties. Filled out a form for First Baptist Atlanta. Called ATT about weirdness going on with my iPhone text messages.

Gave myself a haircut. Been doing that for several years now.

NAMB! Computer!

Tim A. Cummins @ 5:51 pm

Today we enjoyed a FAMILY time together! Great to have all 4 of us together. Just like the old days.
f
Ashley, Jesse and I took a ride out to NAMB to pick up supplies for the kids.
n
Always great to help the children!

Went by Azalea to check on the kids and drop off the stuff we picked up.
d
Also wanted to make sure the mission was ok. Someone had locked both bathroom doors. I got in with the help of an extra key to make sure the water wasn’t running. Glad to say it wasn’t!

We called the managers about the team coming in on Thursday. Also called some about not having a team next week. We didn’t have as many people come as we were expecting. Ashley is handling all the details. GREAT to have her help!

Jesse got a new computer today! He’s excited about that. We helped buy it. He got a Macbook Air. Looks like something out of Star Trek!

Came home to work on admin duties and rest.

We set up tables and chairs for over 170 people. AMEN!
j
Poured down rain today. We need it!

Been a long time since I thought of “Mr. Bill!”
