Girls! 9.15.18 Bike! Terminator!

Tim A. Cummins @ 10:51 pm

The girls woke up around 7:00 am the morning. Got them changed and fed them breakfast. We went back to the Doggie Park this morning. We should have gone to the Stone Mountain park. The lack of shade made the Doggie Park pretty hot.
We had doughnuts under the gazebo.

We pretty much do whatever Penelope wants.

She’s such an angel child! They BOTH are awesome!
When we got home, I turned our little sprinkler on low on the deck. They had a big time with the water. Then got them in bed for a nap.

They crashed for almost exactly two hours. Then Miles came to pick them up. They were missed!

I studied Spanish and Swahili while they slept. Even though I only slept a few hours last night, couldn’t take a nap. Weird.

I’m still working on past tense.

Passed another big grammar milestone in Swahili. It’s a really hard language to speak well.

Since I couldn’t fall asleep, I went for a 17.95 mile bike ride.

Went to see the new Terminator movie tonight. I liked it. Interesting twist for heroes.

Did some research on where I’ll take Kathy’s iPhone to have the battery repaired.

Everly’s diaper came off and she peed in the bed. I got it all cleaned up and had a good reason to clean all my bedding and pillowcases. I’m pretty bad about doing that regularly.

We have a big hornet’s nest in our yard. Did some research on it. Apparently, they all die during the winter except for the queen. They make a new nest every year, so it doesn’t pose a danger. I’d like to get it done someone, It’s really interesting looking.
Catching up on my admin duties now.

Girls! Friday 9.14.18

Tim A. Cummins @ 10:38 pm

Friday, I continued to study the William Blake poem, “Jerusalem” along with the hymn of the same name. The song was used in the movie, “Chariots of Fire” which provided the movie title. Blake also illustrated many of his poems.

I love learning!

Hurricane Florence smashed into the Carolinas today.

Studied Spanish/Swahili. It’s a way of life.

Also a way of life for me.

Beauty!

GREAT to have the girls spend the night!

We took them to the pool at Stone Mountain.
And to the “Doggie Park,” off of Five Forks Trickum.

I focused on Everly. Kathy had great bonding time with Penelope.

They love the slides.

Beautiful moon Friday night.

Lovely clouds.

Love my girls!

My goal is to wear them out having fun!

I didn’t sleep very well last night. Kept waking up to check to make sure Everly was ok.
Didn’t do my admin duties. Tried to go to sleep early, without much success. Poor little
Penelope was coughing. Glad we gave her some medicine. After about an hour and a half she got quiet. Prayed a lot for her.
The girls are SUCH a blessing!
