Yard Work! Plants! Census! 3.19.29

Tim A. Cummins @ 9:08 pm

I did my Spanish study.

Talked with the guys fixing my amplifier. They made it sound like it wasn’t worth fixing because it has a lot of other problems. But all I really needed was one channel and a simple knob to get fixed. So hopefully they’ll be able to do at least that.

I captured and released squirrel number 89 today. That was the first squirrel of 2020. Normally during the winter the squirrel population doesn’t move very much. But in the spring and summer time and a lot of them come from far away to get bird food and such.

So beautiful

I did about two hours of yard work. The leaves were pretty dry. Normally, I do at least four or five hours of that yardwork and then the next day my back is terrible. So I decided this time to do less over more days so I won’t hurt myself. At least that’s the strategy.

I have a tarp covering a damaged area of my roof. Stapled it back down.

The pollen is here!

I went to Lowe’s to pick up some paint and a tarp to help me with yardwork and to repair the sheet rock that got replaced. Also enjoyed looking at all the succulents that they had in stock. I brought six or seven small ones. They’re endlessly fascinating to me.

Worked on the census for the government tonight. Got that submitted.
