Caruso! Storms! 7.9.20

Tim A. Cummins @ 8:26 pm

I liked this picture that was painted by an artificial intelligence. The computer had studied thousands of pictures before drawing this one.

I was sad to see this news about a summer camp. It’s the reason that we didn’t have any teams this summer for Whirlwind.

I studied Spanish and did my brain training.

It rained about a half inch yesterday.

I gassed up my car.

I added a little bit of oil and the oil cap fell into the engine block. Eventually got it to go all the way down to where the bumper was. I took the grill off partially to be able to get it out. What a hassle!

Recorded a new episode of Verbal Surgery called, “The Art of Forgetting.” I’ll release that this Sunday.

Had a great talk with my buddy Caruso in Italy.

Powerful thunderstorms blew through the ATL this afternoon. Power blinked off. Had to reset all the clocks.

Listened to radio from Madrid while I transported another squirrel.

Grandgirls! Chainsaw! Bike! 7.8.20

Tim A. Cummins @ 10:46 pm

Studied Spanish this morning. First day to work on the 5th level.

Grandgirls came over. That’s always good. We took them to the park. Had fun playing on all the equipment.

These lilies are blooming! They are special to me because they are from my Dad’s funeral.

I transported two squirrels today.

Got a new pocket chainsaw. Made short work of a big branch that fell.

Got groceries, cleaned them up and brought them in.

Rode my bike 13.25 miles.

Listened to radio from Madrid after I recited all the scripture and poetry that I know. Got all the way through Psalms 136 today!

Got caught in a rainstorm in my last 10 minutes. Wasn’t too bad. I was pretty safe.

Some kind of flying bug got into my shirt while I was riding and stung me multiple times. That’s not zesty.

Released a new episode of Verbal Surgery this evening called “Keep the Change 2.” Excellence incarnate.

Grandgirls! Tags! 7.7.20

Tim A. Cummins @ 7:32 pm

I studied Spanish. I finished 168 levels and will start Level Five tomorrow. It’s quite an accomplishment, really.

Did my brain training.

Had a fun day with the girls. Everly help me put the new stickers on for my tags. She enjoyed playing drums while I worked on writing the checks for the bills. They are such a blessing.

Lots of showers in our area today.

Transported a squirrel. I doubt that job will ever stop until the winter.

Today marks three years that I’ve been a vegetarian. It’s been a good life choice.

Grandgirls! Yellow River Wildlife Sanctuary! Storm! 7.6.20

Tim A. Cummins @ 8:05 pm

Studied Spanish and did my brain training. It’s all about longevity and consistency! There are 168 different categories in Spanish on Duolingo. I’ve almost finished through the fourth level. That means I have successfully completed 672 different tests. I will start the final fifth level in two days. I have the ability to test out of each category which I did. The final level 5 I’ll probably do all the lessons involved.

It was great to have the Grandgirls come over today.

I took them to the Yellow River Wildlife Sanctuary. It was closed, but on my bike ride yesterday I saw that even though it’s closed you could still see some of the animals. The peacocks were wandering around in the parking lot. We had a marvelous time up close and personal with those birds. I thought it was great fun. The girls liked it, too. I’ll take them back when it’s open soon.

After the little one had a nap, I took them home in absolutely driving rain.

Went to the bank to deposit checks. That’s always good!

Listened to Harry Potter in Spanish on the way home.

Anthony! Podcast! Bike! 7.5.20

Tim A. Cummins @ 9:34 pm

Wow! I had a great night’s sleep last night. Sleep Cycle is one of my favorite apps. I use it every night. Normally, I don’t get over 80%.

Learned a new word today. Moral turpitude.

I studied Spanish and did my brain training.

Went to Stone Mountain and had a great talk with my buddy, Anthony. I really cherish that relationship.

I recorded a new episode of Verbal Surgery called “Keep the Change.”

Rode my bike 17.60 miles today.

Listened to radio from Madrid most of the time.

The rest of the time I memorized Psalms 136.

Beautiful day.

I took the carpet cleaner back to my sister-in-law‘s house.

Car! Carpet! Groceries! 7.4.20

Tim A. Cummins @ 9:51 pm

I studied Spanish and did my brain training.

Mild day.

Got the groceries. Cleaned them before bringing them in.

I took Jesse‘s car for a test drive. It’s had a check engine light on. Ran great.

After I got home, I gave it a good cleaning.

I borrowed a carpet cleaner from my sister-in-law. Cleaned it thoroughly before using it.

It did a good job on the carpets.

Cleaned off the driveway where Jess’s car had been parked.

Happy Birthday, USA!

Tim A. Cummins @ 1:43 pm

I’m looking forward to doing my presentation on July 11 for the international broadcast from Brazil.

Getting warmer!

I’ve studied Spanish and did my brain training the last two days.

Learning new words.

Had the grand girls spend the night Thursday night.

We had fun at the park. The blackberries are in season we had good times picking a lot of those.

I set up the tent. Girls had fun with that.

They wanted to wear my flip flops. They looked like skis on those little girls!

Rode my bike 15.19 miles.

Beautiful sunset.

Saturday night is the “Thunder Moon.” Groovy.

One of my smallest orchids has begun to bloom. My green friends bring me such joy!

Just released an episode of Verbal Surgery “Wild Tiger!”

Keep your fear under control with this terrific edition.
