Podcast! Liriope! 6.6.21

Tim A. Cummins @ 6:54 pm

Joseph Campbell has had a big influence on me.

Que divertido!

I can almost see myself there. Evergreen Marriot.

Wow.

I had fun playing with one of my synthesizer apps. I’m looking forward to doing more with this stuff. I think it could be a lot of fun.

Estoy tratando hablar mas en EspaƱol. I’m trying to speak more in Spanish.

OYB!

Cooler day.

Looks like rain in the forecast.

I have four gardenia plants. They are two different types. These I’ve had for at least ten years. They are almost like bonsai.

Duolingo motivates me to keep going.

I’m working on getting some new jackets made by a tailor at Global Mall. I’m pretty sure I can use this material.

I just ordered three of them. Amazon is good about taking things back. I figure if the tailor does a good job, which I’m sure he will, It’ll be worth getting some extras made.

Went to Stone Mountain to record a podcast and make calls. I tried to call my Mom but she was busy. Tomorrow!

I’m getting better at understanding this all the time.

My favorite.

I was back on the Liriope project. I took clumps of the plant from my back yard around some of my trees.

Used the Gorilla cart to haul things around.

Made the pattern where I’ll put the plants. I’m making curvy lines so it looks more natural.

I put the plant in and tamp the soil down after I’ve broken the clumps up.

The project is coming along.

The thing about this plant is I know what it can and will do. When I was trying to grow grass seed, I always felt in my heart that it was doomed to failure because there just wasn’t enough sun. Liriope grows just fine in deep shade, so I’m joining in with nature and helping spread the plants.

Transported a squirrel. I keep them covered because it helps them settle down.
