HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!

We had an awesome time taking Kathy to the Rennaissance Festival today!

It was really cool being transported back in time.

Lots of nice smells!

I bought this Caduceus. I like the healing symbol.

The blown glass was amazing.

I especially liked the presentation by the actor playing Leonardo da Vinci–one of my heroes.

We even had an audience with Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn. I was the audience member who guessed who there were.

And the birds of prey were super cool!

I’d never seen a Condor before. Wow!

I love Peregrin Falcons–the fastest animal on the planet.

This is actually a hybird Peregrin and Gyr falcon.

It was amazing to see it swooping in out of the sky. Woosh!

Had a lot of fun watching people throw tomatoes at this guy. He was really fun insulting the people throwing stuff.

We missed having Ashley along. She is studying for two finals tomorrow.

It was good to be with my brother Bill and his girlfriend Debora.

I liked hanging out with Merlin!

The swords were cool!

Jesse saw this Swallowtail Butterfly today. I loved the bottom parts of the wings!
