Teeth! Shot!
This morning J and I headed to the dentist! Never my favorite thing to do.
We both got good reviews. J had one little cavity. I really like our dentist as he’ll go ahead and fix the problem rather than have to make another appointment to get it done. Hate that.
My teeth were perfecto, baby!
We had BBQ at Crazy Ron’s in Stone Mountain, one of my Food Faves.
Love that place! Chopped pork and potato salad. Can’t go wrong!
There’s an antique store I like in Stone Mountain so K and J looked around with me.
I got an antique grape shot from the navy. About 150 years old. A cannon would shoot out a bunch of these at the same time.
Bahd luck if you got hit with one of those bad boys. It’s a nice pair with my canonball I got from Chicamauga, GA.
Also got an old plumb bob. Reminds me of my days in construction.
I wanted this old phone, but the guy didn’t have a price tag on it.
I thought it be funny to tell people it was my new cell phone.
I liked this bear jaw.
And these fossils.
I bought Kathy a lemon square for dessert at this German restaurant. Groovy!
I liked the fountain in front.
Reminded me of a horse trough.
I liked this flower.
Kathy was riding her bike when we picked her up for lunch. J and I took her back to the bike. Unfortunately, the Model T Fords we saw when we got here had all left. I was hoping to get some shots of those. I love taking pictures of cool cars.
Come to think of it, I like taking pictures, period. As of today, there are 167,021 pictures in our gallery. Ashley has taken almost exactly 50,000.
I took Jesse home than went to Walmart to do the grocery shopping.
Had to take back some shirts that K didn’t like. I hate taking stuff back.
I told her I’d end up having to do that. The only thing that made the job palatable was that she wrote me a note saying, “You were right.”
Working on admin duties now. Trying to nail down more of the team assignments as well as editing the maps and contacts page on the web site. It really is amazing the infrastructure that I’ve established over the years. I kind of forget how massive it is until I start looking through it again.
I’m hoping to go to Fernbank tonight to see the Imax film of tornados. Love those! In whirlwind and storm is His way!
