When this front blows through, we’re expecting rain.

Screenshot

This is the first year when I really remember smelling the gardenias while I’m on the front porch.

Did the laundry. Wanted to get a fresh start with the team coming tomorrow.

I had some errands to run, so left instructions on the door for Nana’s PT therapist. He came before I left so I didn’t really need these cards.

Got fried rice.

Screenshot

Went to the Post Office to get stamps. They told me that tomorrow they’re going up to .82/stamp. That seems high.

This is a common scenario. Pouring down rain and nothing beside it.

Screenshot

I’d like to have good weather for the teams, but we need the rain.

I’ve really enjoyed playing Pandora. It’s a beautiful game. The bioluminescence is super cool in it.

Printed the labels for the newsletters.

Keep going.

K and I took PE to eat at the BHFM. P showed me some of her coloring.

I have a team coming to work with me for one day in June. I sent her this information to review.

I’ve really enjoyed playing Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. It’s a huge and beautiful game.

Restaurant Recon! PE! 5.19.26

Tim A. Cummins @ 8:10 pm

I’m looking forward to having the girls and the Teams during the Summer.

Screenshot
Screenshot

Pentecost and the Jewish holiday Shavuot is this coming Sunday. It marks the anniversary of the giving of the law on Mt. Sinai. I did a study on Shavuot as well as the holy mountain last night. The team from Alabama and I will be a part of the service at FBC Doraville.

Talked to Josh about the food order.

We had the Rotech man bring K another O2 concentrator. Her first one had battery problems. I left a note on the door.

There are 38 people on the team coming this Friday-Monday. I pride myself on being a detail oriented, logistical guy. That means that every place we go to has to handle a large group. When you also mix in that it involves Sunday and Memorial Day things get complicated. Not all the restaurants can take that many people. Fuji will be the first time I’ll have a big group there. We’ll see how it goes.

Screenshot

Talking to the restaurant managers as the meal order come together.

Screenshot
Screenshot

This weekend, I’m changing the days I do the Judaism and the Buddhism presentations to fit the holiday/church schedules.

Picked up the grandgirls at Azalea. They were with me when I talked to Fuji and Pho 24. Went to eat at Cheeseburger Bobby’s.

Penelope got a new shirt. Can you guess what this says?

Screenshot

The girls enjoyed the custard. I cued them with, “Take a big bite.”

Glad to get this coming. Hope it’s not too heavy to load and unload.

Screenshot

Language is a longevity thing. I don’t see anyone beating me this week.

Psych Form! Bank! Apt Recon! PE! Show Prep! 5.18.26

Tim A. Cummins @ 8:12 pm

I printed out the final form J needs in order to start working with his new psychiatrist.

Jodie had the memorial service for her husband Charlie last weekend. He was one of my favorite people.

OYB!

Still ironing out some details with the team coming this Friday through Monday.

Screenshot

I was in touch with the oxygen people at Rotech this morning. They are bringing a new machine for K tomorrow.

Screenshot

Getting pretty warm for May.

Screenshot
Screenshot

I did a recon of several apartments where I’ll have teams this weekend. Dropped off a card and took pictures of their signage.

Screenshot

Went by my office to check on mail. Processed 13 checks. Thank you, Father! Went to the bank to deposit them.

Picked up the girls at Azalea. Put the stuff I bought for the Mission inside. Took them to Waffle House.

Everly had special Stitch fingernails.

I always encourage Penelope to draw something for me. She does these fold out, surprise pictures that always crack me up.

Art by some little kid on a WH window.

The girls helped me set up for the Show. We worked about an hour.

Made sure that Pastor Bill knew about the team coming will be using our kitchen at FBCD.

Picked up groceries.

Screenshot

Don Cheto on the way home. Sometimes I get most of the conversation. Other times nearly zero.

Screenshot

Got gas and checked the oil in my car.

Watered my downstairs plants.

I’ll probably come in first place this week. I was second last week.

Ordered more wax melts. Trying new smells!

Big week coming up. Last few days of school and a team that starts on Friday.

Good talk with my buddy, Anthony.

Screenshot

Fixed a crack in one of my birdbaths. I used Gorilla Glue rather than caulk this time. The caulk peeled off. I don’t see that glue doing that.

Cleaned out the bottom of my toilet. Some kind of mineral buildup I reckon.

I got my bike ready to ride. Cleaned the frame with a lightly oiled rag and filled up the tires to 60 psi.

I passed the voting station. Even though it’s only the primary, seems like a lot of people there.

Had a great ride in near perfect weather.

Pretty close. I’m not uptight about it at all.

Went to Walmart to pick up supplies for the Mission.

Watered the plants on the deck.

I bought this to put in the window. Lovely.

Took my Mom to get her hair done.

Most of my orchids are blooming now.

Just keep going.

Great time with my buddy Jon. I was sorry to hear his dog Bella had died. She was one of my favorites.

Voted and put the absentee votes for J, K and Nana in the lock box.

Called Rotech about the problem we’re having with K’s mobile concentrator.

Trying to keep these things going.

Called Xfinity/Comcast to have their techs check the line. They said they’ve had work in our area but should be better than ever soon.

Talked with Josh Nichols about the number on his team he was bringing, lunches and the Sunday at FBC Doraville.

I wanted to get a confirmation about J’s taxes.

Vacuum! Laundry! Azalea Cleaning! Books! 5.13.26

Tim A. Cummins @ 9:01 pm

K and I are going to get away for a few days while the grandgirls are at the beach with their folks. Did some research on Tybee Island, Clayton and Chattanooga. Not sure where we’ll go yet.

Screenshot
Screenshot

I’m thinking about having a little store for the kids at the Mission for PE to manage. Lots of opportunities to do math and business and marketing. Figuring out how many in a box, how much for each one when we buy in bulk, what’s a good price . . . all that stuff.

Screenshot
Screenshot

I’ll be part of the program on Pentecost Sunday at FBC Doraville. My team will be with me too.

I first started getting this AARP offer stuff over a decade ago. Then I felt a little offended. Now, seems reasonable.

Screenshot

Did my laundry.

Part of my ceiling cover came loose. I stapled it back in place.

I filled out the absentee voter documents for K, J and Nana. I plan on voting after I eat lunch with Jon tomorrow.

Vacuumed the house. Cleaned up around K’s chair. I fell a few days ago and knocked over a lot of her stuff. I clean the vacuum every time I use it. Keeps it working great.

Worked on setting up the Mission for several hours today. Got the Nintendo 64 hooked up and playing.

Gigantic amount of stuff to go through, throw away, donate or give to the kids.

I help coordinate Nana’s PT schedule.

Don Cheto on the way home.

J and I filled out the absentee voter stuff. They all signed their own.

Went to the Mission to organize and keep cleaning things out. Making progress. The kids had fun. I gave a lot of stuff away.

This thermostat seems to run the fan from time to time. Weird. I let the Manager know about it.

You know the drill.
