12 Stone at Olde Salem! Seder at Cowboy Church in Jerusalem!

Tim A. Cummins @ 11:36 pm

Awesome day!

Worked on two new podcasts! Always fun. I have them recorded but not uploaded. Too much great stuff going on today!

Went to Olde Salem in Lawrenceville to work with one of my favorite teams: 12 Stone Church!

I really enjoy working with Brad Chahoy and Jon Lewis in particular. Two great go getters for Jesus!
b
The team had an Easter Egg hunt for the kids, food, games . . . even water balloons!

After the event, I went to lunch with Ashley and Miles. Groovy!

Then back to the house to pick up Kathy and Jesse. The whole family took a ride out to Jerusalem. Georgia, that is!

One of my partners is Rebecca Hampton. She’s the director of Cowboy Church! She’s doing an awesome job of reaching her neighbors for Jesus.

This evening we had Rabbi Gary Maxted perform the Messianic Seder.
g

Not sure if you know what that is, but it’s the meal that Jewish people take for Passover.

There are a variety of foods, each symbolize a particular part of the oppression and then release of the Israelites from Egypt.

The horseradish is the slavery along with the bitter herbs.

h
There’s also the matzah bread that symbolizes Israel leaving in a hurry.
m

The main symbol is the passover lamb which is seen as the unbroken shank bone.
s
We had a real lamb for the service.
l

Don’t get no cuter.

We each had to take a turn holding the lamb.

The kids at the Cowboy Church also did some interpretive dance to Easter music.

It was very powerful!
After the service, we had fun at the ranch petting the horses and enjoying the scenery.
