Finale! Super 8!

Tim A. Cummins @ 10:30 pm

Worked on new podcasts today! Always groovy!

Verbal Surgery is some of my best, and most important, work!

I think you’ll find “The Key to Success is Respondability!”

r

And this one is one of my best yet! ‘Uncommon Seeds.” Just click on the title and away you’ll go into Podcast Land!
s

Today we wrapped up the busiest week of the summer!

Here’s the route one of the buses took!
b

I met the teams at FBC Doraville around lunchtime.

Had a group shot with the Hattieburg team. They did a fantastic job!
h
g

Byron Malone is one of my favorites! Great to have him back this year!
b

Ashley and I went around to take pictures and video of the teams from Oklahoma and Kentucky as well!
g

d

They sure are some great folks.

Picked up my car this evening. I had to have the emission test done. Had to have some work on it to pass. In fact, three out of the four cars I have had to get work on them in order for them to pass. Cost about $750 for all the repairs. Ironically, the van–which is nearly 20 years old, was the only one that passes the initial inspection! All four of my cars have nearly 200,000 miles on them.

J and I went to see Super 8 this evening. I liked it.
s8

Kids shooting movies is always groovy. And who doesn’t like a good monster movie?

Did you know I’m part Cherokee?
c

And Gypsy too!

I don’t this was one of the missionary’s cars.
c

I liked this jeep. It was super heavy duty with a winch in the front. And a BABY seat!
j
Looked like a pretty hard core baby sat there!

Big group which included two 55 passenger buses, three large vans and two cars!
b

We had a great time there eating samosas and learning more about Islam.

g
h
b

Then over to Global Mall where I introduced them to my friend Maduv who is the priest at the Hindu temple. It was an interesting time as we learned more about his religion and watched him do the Puja–or prayer.

Tim A. Cummins @ 8:27 pm

After church in Clarkston on Sunday, I had a wonderful experience. I was putting K’s bike on the rack on my car when I heard the most beautiful singing . . . in Swahili! Groovy, baby!

One more reason why I LOVE Atlanta!

Before I come into work in the morning, I always feed the birds! Today I changed out the nectar for my hummingbirds!
h

I usually change the water in the bird baths too!
bb

Had an awesome time giving my briefing to my team from FBC Hattiesburg this morning! They were here last year. It was cool that they remembered my presentation so well. I gave a repeat performance for the group that wasn’t there.

We took the teams over to the Buford Highway Farmers Market after the briefing. It’s one of my favorite places. Always great stuff to experience.

s

b

The girls said this one made them fart all night long. A little too much information. That I felt obligated as a public service to pass on.
f

Sawyer kisses the frozen hog head.
hh

Hottest peppers on the planet!
p

Cute kids!
o

After a quick lunch the teams went out to 24 different locations around Metro Atlanta! They worked with over 4,000 kids toady! What a blessing!

g
Then over to Metro Express Hotel where I met with the team from Hattiesburg! Ian and Ruthie North and I took the buses around their routes so they’ll know where they’re going tomorrow. Looks like we’re sitting on dead ready for an AWESOME week!

Super heavy rain led to flooding in Chamblee this afternoon while we were taking the buses around.
r
Even had some pea sized hail.

And amazing rainbows!
r
Some of them looked like they were right in front of the bus.
rr
Can you see it?

Went to Yophoria with Ian and Ruthie for a treat after all that work.

Back home to work on admin duties. Wrote checks for bills. I need to write my article for the newsletter. It’s a weigh of life, baby.

Went to Azalea this afternoon where Kathy and I took the kids for a swim a a local pool. Fun! We also got the labels for the newsletters completed.
