Portuguese! FBC Jonesboro! Azalea!

Tim A. Cummins @ 10:42 pm

Worked on Portuguese. Cada dia. More interesting mistakes.

Lots of days in a row!

Went to FBC Jonesboro to speak to a Student Leader conference hosted by my good friend, Larry Lawrence.

Met some great folks, a few of which have already decided to at least come take a look at it. That’s a GREAT first step. Because like my Mama says, “One of your challenges, Tim, is that people don’t even have a frame of reference for what you’re doing.” It’s true! There’s no place like the International Village in the world!

I do love the skyline of Atlanta!

Allen will be coming to visit us next week.

Went to my office and picked up checks. Praise the Lord for that! Then deposited.

To the mission to work with the kids. They’re always good for a laugh. Beauty girls!

Jury duty was called off again!
GREAT to get this news! I ended up not having to serve the whole week.

Lots of things percolating right now.

Went to the ATT store to get my international rates for my iPhone squared away. WAY easier to have decent coms than try and limp along on some kind of European burner phone. I am completely spoiled by my iPhone.

Had a great talk with my friend John Cook on my way to Jonesboro. Blew right past my exit.

As I was driving to Jonesboro, I noticed this big plume of dark smoke in my rearview.

Kind of a big deal for me today. I’ve decided recently to go back to carrying my iPhone7+ AND my Canon Elph 350. I’ve been missing shots with my iPhone that I should be getting, but the iPhone just doesn’t have the optics. My Elph, which is a tiny camera, has 10x zoom. As compared to 2x with the iPhone 7+. And the iPHone doesn’t handle the right high contrast stuff very well. Not like the Canon.

BUT the iPhone is the future! So I figured out how to wifi connect and send pictures from the Canon directly to the iPhone! That’s so cool to me.

That also means a 2 camera shoot possibility.
