I cleaned and refilled all my hummingbird feeders.

Discovered what look like fire ants in my yard. That’s always alarming.

Got some fire ant killer on Amazon.

Cleaned off my carpet outside.

Got gas in my car and checked the oil.

Went to AutoZone to get more motor oil to replenish what I’d used.

Trees look happy with all the rain.

Happy Rosh Hashanah to my Jewish friends.

I’ve been enjoying the lyrics to some of the songs on My Fair Lady.

Grandgirls! School! Mission! 9.17.20

Tim A. Cummins @ 9:34 pm

Met up with Ashley at Global Mall.

It’s been pouring down rain, fall out from hurricane Sally.

At the back of Global Mall there is a drive under facility. So we are able to go over there and transfer the girls without anybody getting wet so that’s great.

Very good day in our school today. Girls worked hard.

We used this to count to 32.

We watched about 20 minutes of my Fair Lady which was fun.

We built the tallest tower.

Took them home and put them to bed.

Studied Spanish while I waited for Miles to get home.

Went to the mission to help the kids with their homework.

I helped a couple of kids before it started to sprinkle again.

Went by my office to check the mail and water my tree.

Got some coloring books at the Dollar Tree.

Listened to Harry Potter in Spanish on the way home.

Deposited checks at the bank.

Tried to fix some glasses. Totally screwed them up. Had to throw them away.

Grandgirls! Rain! 9.16.20

Tim A. Cummins @ 7:51 pm

It was great to see Ashley!

Took the girls over to a fair that had just been set it up. Cool to see some of the rides.

Had a good day at our little school. Hard to get them going sometimes but they always do well in the end.

Getting ready for Everly’s birthday!

Rainy day.

Going to start getting used to cooler weather I reckon.

Even though the traffic was pretty heavy always seems faster than before the pandemic.

Went to the mission. Very rainy afternoon. Wasn’t able to do the after-school program today.

Enjoying playing Spiderman.

Grandgirls! Bubbles! Mission! 9.15.20

Tim A. Cummins @ 10:00 pm

I got my vote by mail application sorted out today.

Ordered groceries.

Met up with Ashley at Global Mall.

Picked up the grand girls.

Did some vacuuming around the house while the girls were eating breakfast.

Hard to get them to do school work. Have to constantly change strategies.

The mushrooms in my yard continue to grow.

When it stops raining I always break out the bubbles. It’s nice to have good things for bad weather.

Went to the mission to help the kids.

We managed to do the session without getting rained on so that was good. It’s pretty hard what they are expecting these kids to figure out over the computer with no explanation.

Liked the sun through the clouds this afternoon.

Went by my office to pick up the mail.

Listened to Spanish Harry Potter on the way home.

Also ran a lot of the poetry I know.

Went to Walmart to pick up my groceries.

Published a new episode of Verbal Surgery called “Pay Intention!”

Podcast! Recording! Chores! 9.12.20

Tim A. Cummins @ 9:21 pm

I released a new episode of Verbal Surgery called “Riding the Breaks.“ Sweet!

I studied Spanish and did my brain training.

Had a quick chat with my buddy, Anthony Jacquin. He was on a break from a large zoom call he was doing.

Went to Stone Mountain to record a new podcast called “Aqueduct of Consciousness.” Excellent.

On the way home, I saw this car. I had the urge to drive up beside him in my PT cruiser and rev mine and act like I wanted to race him. I thought that was hilarious.

I liked this poem by Rumi.

Came home and cleaned out the bird baths and watered my plants.

My wisteria plants are looking good.

Listened to some music. I liked this song.

Went to Walmart to pick up my groceries. Then home to put everything away.

Had a great talk with my buddy Bob Burns this evening. He’s always hilarious. I think it’s wonderful that you can be all the way in Scotland and see other.

Grandgirls! Doggie Park! My Fair Lady! 9.11.20

Tim A. Cummins @ 9:42 pm

Picked up the grand girls at Global Mall. Always great to see Ashley.

Gassed up the car.

We stopped off at Always Fresh where Kathy works. We enjoyed getting to see her.

We went to the dog park. There is a lending library that has books that people can take. The plexiglass door had been smashed. That left the books unprotected from the weather.

We started finding the pieces of plexiglass and put them back together within the frame. I had some some electrical tape which I used to seal the fractures in the plexiglass.

Went from that repair to the swings. Some miscreant had put them so that nobody could use them. So I talked to the girls about how we needed a big stick.

We did finally come up with exactly what we needed. I used that stick to push the seats up and over that bar. It was actually quite difficult. Once I got the two baby seats over, the regular swings were much much easier.

All the kids really appreciated it and immediately gravitated towards those swings.

It’s a cool park. Not literally cool… actually pretty dang hot.

After coming home, we had a bit of fun with water and the sprinkler. Ate lunch and then watched the first part of My Fair Lady.

The girls enjoyed it because we’ve been listening to that soundtrack in my car. It was a fun day.

After a nap, K and I took them to the other set of grandparent’s house.

Studied Spanish and did my brain training.

Repairs! Mission! Spider-Man! 9.10.20

Tim A. Cummins @ 10:06 pm

I worked on a project for some friends of mine in Brazil this morning. I’m one of the speakers in a conference that’s being held online.

Studied Spanish and did my brain training.

Sent in an order for pickup service at Walmart.

Did some repairs on Kathy’s CPAP. Hot glued a section that was causing some problems.

The girls and I have enjoyed listening to My Fair Lady. It’s the first musical that I’ve gotten the grand girls interested in. I just bought the dvd to play for them.

Worked with the kids at the mission.

We had an abbreviated day because it started to sprinkle. Being outside everything‘s weather related.

I’m helping a 5th grader. His homework can be super hard.Today, one of the subjects was “Logical fallacies.” What? It looked like college homework.

Got all the chairs and table disinfected with a soapy water solation and scrubbed them.

Went to my office to check on the mail.

Listened to Harry Potter on the way home.

Studied Spanish verbs.

Got groceries.

Enjoying the vistas of New York on Spider-Man. What a fun game.
